This question is for any police officers out there working for NY, Boston, Chicago, LA, Atlanta, Houston. I passed my written CPD exam already. I've made up my mind that I want to pursue this. The next test is the physical. They said we have to run 1.5 miles in under 15 minutes. I'm sure other major cities have this too. The thing is I have asthma, not bad asthma (sometimes I feel like i've grown out of it).. I believe I can do it, but what should I do to prepare for this part of the test and was it easy for those of you over 30? (i'm under 30 by the way)

I have a toothache that I can tame with Ibuprofen. But recently, my cheek has grown a little swollen. It's not a major difference than normal but I notice that my left cheek is definitely infected/swollen whatever.....

What could be the problem? Just a note, I tried touching my broken tooth last week and it was about that time that my cheek started swelling. Could it be that my dirty hands irritated my mouth? What medications can I take to reduce the swelling to normal? Please advise. If you need more information, just ask.....

Bam Bam is over 15 years old. His hearing is 75% gone, his legs are weak, and he doesn't drink his water. Chicagoans, please give advice on where I can put him to sleep.

Seeing a dentist is out of the question so don't respond with that resolution. What are some common remedies for a severe toothache? It hurts all the time, regardless if i'm chewing anything or not, whether it's hot or cold. It hurts all the time.

Every time music comes on she starts dancing be it in the baby seat, in the pen, in her eating chair. She's 2 years old. Me and her mother don't do much dancing unless we're at a get-together. I'm looking to buy a completely stock 96 Impala. I want to upgrade it with something that will give me 425+ horsepower without having to do any other modifications. I'm talking specifically about a reputable turbocharger or supercharger. I 'm more concerned about low end power like stoplight races, etc. Are there any suggestions?? and will stock internals support 425+ horsepower?? My budget is $4000.

This is for those that have had their car repainted. I have a car with the tricolor diamond pearl clearcoat (Caddy). I have two questions

1) How much would it cost to just repaint the front and rear bumper?

2) How much would it cost to get the car repainted black w/ clearcoat?

And I'm talking about a quality job.

My lady is pregnant. I think she's 2 months now. We have a little girl together already, and she's my #2 lil lady. She has a 10 yr old from a previous relationship, and I love him like a son even though his dad is very much present. The problem is that I recently quit my job. I bought this toy for my little girl. I need to change the battery. I can see the plastic housing that holds the 2 batteries through the rubber spikes, but I can't seem to remove the housing. Anyone have this toy and how did you do it? It's a lame toy if it doesn't light up you dig
