Verizon did away with 2 year contracts on phones a while ago...like 2-3 years ago, yet, my online account says that my contact will expire in 183 days. And I didn't sign a contact for payments on a phone either; I brought my own phone in that I paid for outright. This definitely irks me, because I'm looking to change services, and yet, it would appear that verizon has me trapped in some fake BS contract. Can they even do that? lol

I'm 24, currently in a 2 year program for college. I also have a stable job at a hospital and I've saved up enough money to where I'd like to start investing. I have $10,000 saved up, and I'd be willing to start with $5000...never hurts to have a cushion in case life calls. I'm curious what people think is the best online broker for beginners, and the best just in general. I want to trade stocks. I understand that a mutual, or index fund is a good investment, but I'm looking to be more involved starting out.

I need internet for 3 months. I live with my grandparents, and they are leaving for 3 months. The bills will be passed off on me. They have a bundle with comcast for $132.50 a month. It includes internet, tv, and phone. I only want internet, but comcast being the sleeze bags they are won't allow it to be only internet for 3 months. I pretty much refuse to pay that much when I'm only going to use the internet. I definitely need it, because I like watching netflix occasionally, and I also have classes, which I may need internet access for. Are there really any options for me? I feel like I've looked into everything, and there aren't many no contract options, and any that I did find weren't available in my area. I also looked into the idea of moving over to verizons unlimited plan, and tethering off of it with my computer. However, unlimted is not actually unlimited. It's 22 gb, before it is then bumped down to 3g speeds, which you can't do any thing with. Any ideas?

I have this code. Few questions. 1. Can an egr system have 2 vacuum switching valves? because mine does. 2. There is supposed to be a line going from the egr valve to the vacuum switching valve, correct? Because mine is cut, and there's a screw in the tubing. Normally I would never pirate anything, but those crooks at adobe cheated me. I bought their creative suite like 5 years ago online. It included 2 downloads and I only used one of them. Well, my old laptop died, and when I tried to use my second use on my new laptop, It was no longer there. Apparently, adobe takes that right away after 3 years. Complete and utter robbery if you ask me. All I want is adobe premiere pro cs5.5 back. It was the only program in the suite that I used anyway.

If there's no where to pirate it, or if it's not really recommend for safety reasons, can anyone recommend a replacement program for video editing?

I did a fresh install of windows 7 on a new hard drive. I have not been able to get any antivirus programs to install and I have tried several. I made sure that my account is administrator. I'm also able to download other programs so I know it is only an antivirus thing. My question is why though? I saw a lot on the internet about viruses stopping you from installing antivirus, but this is a clean install. Plus, I was able to install malwarebytes without any issues and it detected nothing. What else could it be?

I got a new hard-drive for my laptop and did a fresh install of windows 7 on it. Don't worry, it's a legit copy...windows 7 professional 64 bit service 1 pack.

I did all the necessary driver updates. The next thing I did was immediately buy an antivirus program online. I got bitdefender and it would not finish the installation. At first I thought it was bitdefenders fault, but then I tried to install both avast and AVG free versions and those wouldn't install either. Why would this be happening? What could be blocking me from installing? It's a fresh install, so I doubt I picked up a virus that would be doing this.

I'm looking for an all around good laptop. Factors that matter are keyboard, track pad, speakers, screen, wifi card, and of course specs...preferably at least a core i5, and an ssd.

I foolishly bought an acer aspire e15, because it looked like a steal for the specs, but once I got the laptop I couldn't believe how much of a piece of crap it was! Awful track pad, horrendous tinny sounding speakers, crappy screen, and a horrible wifi card! It has trouble even streaming videos on youtube!

I'm returning that hunk of junk. I'm looking for a good laptop this time around! Not an macbook though. I know they're built well, but I still think they're overpriced for what you get.

So I had a P0135, and a P0441. I changed out the oxygen sensor for P0135 because that the easiest out of the two. Well, The P0135 code cleared and my scanner only detected one code left...great, it must be the P0441. Wrong! The only code on my car now is the P0401 code, which has to do with the EGR system. All I did was change the oxygen sensor. How did that make the P0441 code disappear, and bring the P0401 about which wasn't there before?

With certain things upgraded like ram ssd etc, what do you think of a laptop like this. These laptops had such good build quality which I love, but I don't want somehting thatll end up sucking

My girlfriend and I were having sex and her dad walked in on us. She was riding on top. I heard the door open and I said "babe, please tell me that's the cat." ....Well it wasn't the cat. I'm just not happy being with her anymore. At this point it just feels more like a chore now. I work full time, and I have full time classes. With the little time I do have left, which I try to spend with her, I have to hear her complain about how difficult her life is.meanwhile she has no job and only has a few classes. And our sex life...blah. she hardly ever wants to, and when we do, it's all about her. She gets off and I get nothing. She also just wants to lay around all day. I've talked to her about all of this, but things never change. I love her, but at this point I'm unhappy.
