Okay, so I have this girl that I kind of like. Its just that I don't know how to ask her out. I'm pretty sure she likes me, I mean we talk a lot and she seems like she likes me. Firstly, I don't know how to ask her out. So far, I have thought about maybe a bowling alley. There doesn't seem to be much for good movies right now. Besides, I want to get to know her, not watch a movie. So, could someone tell me what to say? I haven't asked a girl out in so long. See, the last time I asked someone out, they turned me down. That was a really long time ago (years) and I am afraid to ask someone again. Mainly, I have NO CLUE what to say, If someone doesn't help me out, ill probably say something really really stupid and make a fool of myself. Then, another problem, is where to take her. Don't suggest anything too expensive, probably no concerts, see, my mom or dad would have to drive me (embarrassing right) But whatever. Probably my mom would drive us, but I don't really want her there. See, I'm not going on a date where I have to talk to my mom vs my date. I can talk to my mom any day. So preferably somewhere where my mom could drop us off, and she could do whatever she wanted to, then later she could pick us up. To try and help out, the main town around here is Parker (Colorado). There is probably lots to do there. PS. I'm not really nature person, I prefer being inside doing stuff. Also, If my date says yes, what do I tell my mom in order to get her to drive us? Sorry, I guess I'm really bad around women! Help!!!!!

Will Ubuntu work on a 06 imac?

I am running linux mint 10 on my dv4 laptop. under the wireless tab it says that my brodcam WLAN adapter that is built in to the system "Firmware Not Ready" what can I do about this?

I have an HP Pavilion Dv4 Laptop that I would like to install Linux Mint 10 on... But I would also like to keep windows. I do not want to risk loosing any data on windows. also... what is the best linux distro? I tried Ubuntu on another machine but only had trouble... the screen was blurry and it was always freezing up on me. I tried Linux Mint on the same machine, and it does not freeze up near as much. So I like that one more... I hear that what distro you need depends on what you do with it...

I recently downloaded the linux mint 10 debain distro, I noticed that there are several distros of the same os available. there is linux mint 10, linux mint xfce I'm confused... which one will work the best? I also notice that Mint likes to freeze up all of the time...
