  • Russell Wilson or Tony Romo?

standard scoring with the exception of -0.5 points for a sack

Seattle is playing St Louis and i figure the Seattle offense will be on the field a lot more with Bradford out.... but if Seattle gets up big, it'll turn into a running game (and i have Lynch starting as well).

Dallas playing Detroit and this is probably going to be a high scoring game... Romo has weeks where he has put up some big numbers but he likes to throw to the wrong team.

  • kapernick or russel wilson?

kapernick vs houston or wilson vs indy?

i thought i got a steal when drafting these two QBs back to back in a snake draft in round 6 and 7... they've been killing me so far this year and it's a tough decision each week.

  • Penalty shot in rec league?

Ok, I had a game last night. The refs were horrible. Someone on my team actually got an unsportsmanlike penalty for swearing... yes, swearing.

I play goal. In the third period the other team was awarded a penalty shot. The problem with this.... there was never a clear breakaway. the puck was loose in our defensive zone, somewhere between the blue line and the left faceoff circle. a man from each team got to the puck around the same time, there was a little battle for it, the offensive player took it off the boards and around the defensive player. the D transitions and keeps the man to the outside. ALMOST in the slot, the offensive player drops his shoulder and cuts in, there's a hook and the offensive player is brought down, both of them crashing into me in goal and knocking the goal off the pegs.

PLAY IS NOT BLOWN DEAD at this point... the ref is calling a penalty and waiting for my team to gain control... granted, i'm in the net and the net is sideways. play continues for 7-10 seconds before the play is blown dead. I figured there was a penalty being called, stand up, straighten my equipment. the one linesmen is standing next to me waiting for me because i assumed the faceoff was coming, i turn around and the puck is sitting at center ice!

the linesmen that was next to me had no idea why the other guy called the penalty shot. i skate over to the other guy and asked for an explanation and all he says is that he had a breakaway.

i believe the NHL rule is that there isn't supposed to be anyone between the offensive player and the goalie but is there some kind of distance rule that clearly defines what a breakaway is? even though the two players were pretty even, IF there was every any time where the offensive player got past the D, he was within 5, no more than 10, feet of the goal.

  • Help with workplace bathroom etiquette?

This is a completely serious question.

At work, there is a bathroom, two stalls, two urinals.

There is someone at work that I fear must be confronted. I believe he may be severely damaging his rectum.

I went to the bathroom, one person was in the stall... he was finishing up, i hear the toilet paper being unrolled and then the worst thing i could probably have heard. It seriously sounded like he was using SANDPAPER to clean himself with. The bathroom is really quite and, no, i'm not making this up, it seriously sounds like he is rigorously rubbing his butt.

I wish this was an isolated incident but it's not. I have heard the same thing on multiple occasions. One time he came out of the stall while I was still in the bathroom and I finally saw who it was and now, any time i see him going toward the bathroom, I stay away.

I have dubbed him the Anal Scrubber.

My question to you... what should I do about this? are there any etiquette classes he can take or any pamphlets I can offer on the subject so he knows what he's doing isn't normal? do you think he hates his rectum and wants to maybe get rid of it and he believes this is the most effective way of accomplishing that task? Should i introduce him to baby wipes so that perhaps I can stop the rectal carnage he is inflicting? should i maybe just not be so concerned about the Anal Scrubbers stink star?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Who should I start, Tom Brady or Matt Ryan?

Seemingly a stupid question but Brady vs the Jets (ranked #2 in passing yards) or Matt Ryan vs the Packers (31st in passing yards).

    i'm leaning toward Ryan.....

  • Graphics card help?

I have an older HP Pavilion XT856 that still powers up but has no video output. I have tried a few monitors that I know work on other PCs so it can't be the monitor. I'm assuming it's the on-board graphics so I went and bought a crappy little graphics card, put it into the PCI slot and hooked up the monitor but still nothing.

The installation guide to the graphics card does say "you may need to disable the on-board graphics capability". My question is then, how do you disable the graphics when you can't see anything on the monitor?

could there be something else wrong with the mother board that causes something like this to happen?

  • Will the Cubs blow it this year?

the worst division in baseball this year and the cubs, after spending $300 million in the off-season, are extremely close to blowing their post season chances.

The only reason they're still close to 1st place is because the Brewers and the Cardinals haven't been winning either.

Will the Cubs ever see first place again this year?

  • Tax lien sale questions?

can property be levied for income tax? or is it just property taxes?

If so, will the taxing agency attempt to collect through wage withholding first or will they try to secure the property first? is a lien on the property the last attempt to collect or their first?

say someone works for a payroll company and constantly gets tax levies from state and federal agencies and this person knows that there is no way the agency will be able to collect from the wages on this person. could this person doing the payroll then turn around and kind of have "insider information" on a potential upcoming property tax lien?

I'd assume this could probably be illegal but it was just a thought that occurred to me.
