I have been trying to research a topic regarding NJ PIP or personal injury protection. The question that I can not seem to answer and have not be able to get a definitive answer on from the company is in regards to a listed operator who is not a resident relative of the named insured gets injured driving a covered auto. Whose auto policy responds to this coverage? I am being told that even though she is listed on an auto policy with PIP benefits since she is not a resident relative to the named insured the PIP benefits will not apply to the injured person.

IE:

I am listed on my girlfriends policy who I live with

I am injured in an auto accident driving a listed car

I have medical bills related to this accident

How does my GF policy respond if not my GF then where do I get coverage from?

Please only answer if you have knowledge on how PIP coverage works in the state of NJ.

I was up at 620 in April 2010. I ran my scores for all 3 agencies yesterday and all 3 of them were down just about 100 points. I have not made any late payments or opened any new lines of credit. I have payed off all outstanding debt except for a judgment that has been on my record for almost 7 years in Oct. I know that in NJ it is still enforceable for up to 20 years. I have disputed with trans union and equifax both have removed this from the report. Will this make my CS go up? Will it be easier for me to be approved for a mortgage now? What should I expect? Thanks for the help in advance.

I proposed a 50% settlement to velocity investments plus the fee for the processor of 10% of settlement so that would be $933.06. They have counter offered at 70% plus fees of $1031.45. Should I accept the offer of 70% or keep holding out. It will fall off my credit report in Oct. 2011. I live in NJ. I am hoping to buy a house in the near future and this is the last thing holding me up. Suggestions?? Can I counter offer at 55% or 60%. Can I extended this out to more mileage then the recommended 3000 miles intervals. These are all highway miles. Normal conditions.

I got a check for 1 week in March and had $7.00 withheld for federal income tax it was 1.3% of my check. Then from April 1st to April 15st I received a one week check for the 2 weeks worked (new payroll system), I had $30 withheld for fed income tax or 4.3% of my check. Now the check I am receiving on May 1st is for 3 weeks, 2 weeks from the new pay period and 1 week that was withheld from the last check. So basically I will be getting paid for 3 weeks this check. I just received my pay stub for the upcoming check I am getting $255 withheld from the fed or 12.8%.

Could anyone tell me why the discrepancy from the with holdings each time. I keep telling my boss he needs to check on this but the payroll company says it is correct. They said something about it being due to Obamas stimulus plan for only the $7.00 being withheld from the first check.
