  • DTMF tones and Fourier transform graph?

Task: In MATLAB, different tones were generated, these tones are used in DTMF signal.

By observing a Fourier Transform Graph for any of the numbers (0123456789*#ABCD)

visually, how can you relate the frequencies from the graph to confirm what number it is?

e.g. Looking at Fourier Transform Graph of the number '0', how can you tell this one is 0 and not 1?

  • Basic C++ Task Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010?

Using an "if" control statement, write a program to output an error message if your argument contains any alpha (letter) character i.e. only accept numbers and nothing else.

I know it has something to do with the if and else functions, using a isdigit function, but not sure how I would write this in terms of code. Brief explanation would be great as well, thanks in advance.

  • Num lock/ Scroll lock lights flashing whilst laptop is asleep?

Whenever I put my laptop to sleep, normally all the lights (num lock, caps lock and scroll lock) are flashing, the power button is also flashing and the lights on the bottom of the laptop (the lights that indicate the battery status and etc) are also flashing.

But for some odd reason, whenever I put it to sleep, the power button is NOT flashing, and the num lock and the scroll lock is flashing, but NOT the caps lock and the lights on the bottom are stable and do not flash.

Also when I press the power button to wake the laptop up, it doesn't wake up and i have to reboot it.

How do i fix this problem?

    Additional details:

    - I recently changed the motherboard

    - Laptop operates on Windows 7 if that helps..
