  • Andrew a bit of a dunce...?

Yes many companies make ice fishing braid and most storr bought tip ups come spooled with braid. I've seen tip up braid up to 50# and when I said fishing pike with braid I didn't say please give me a lesson in pike fishing lol. Yes I know pike have teeth this is why I use a fluoro leader. And as far as ur statement braid being the most unfreezable line tells me you've obviously never tried cause it absorbs water and ices up pretty quick. So it would be nice if someone that has a clue could answer my question instead of some know it all troll

  • Do i have a legal case against my boss?

Ao long story short I work night maintenance at a charter schoil and was called into work the Monday of hurricaine sandy from 6 to midnight. The govenor had already declared a state of emergency and school was cancelled so for us that means paid day off. When I came in we were speaking about power outages and I said my lights were fluckering that I hope I didn't get a call from the wife to whi h his reply was " what are you gonna do if the lights go out? You can't leave." I said what you mean I can't leave and very sarcastically he said " what are you gonna do? Turn the power back on? I said no but my wife is at home with my 3 kids and if I get a call saying I'm needed at home I'm leaving. He then proceeded to yell at me and threaten my job. I stayed all night with out any issues at home. Fast forward to payday and I asked if I were going to be compensated for the 6 hours I worked he then said no you are not getting double paid, so I said its not double paying me I'm an hourly employee and rightfully shod be compensated for time at workbecause the other 6 fulltime maintenance guys stayed at home and got paid 8 hours snow day while I had to work 6 hours for the same snow day pay. He then told me " if you feel like you are being treated unfairly then you should just quit" keep in mind this is coming from a guy that lost a discrimination lawsuit against a former employee 2 years prior so I don't believe I'm being a baby and overreacting I simply want what is rightfully mine and to stop being talked to like I'm scum off his shoe. Based off this info does anyone think I have a case?

  • Opinions on vicious fluorocarbon?

I have been fishing braid all season in my local lake and the water clarity has vastly improved as of late so I am switching to either fluoro or mono for the remainder of the season. I picked up a spool of 15# vicous fluoro the other day to try. I've heard mixed reviews, any opinions? If its no good ill be spooling my caster with 14# trilene xt mono instead and maybe just save the vicious for leader material.

  • Why is it that on a rapala clackin rap the sure set hook is on the belly instead of the tail ?

On the clackin crank its on the tail with the wide gap pointing up for increased top jaw hookups so why is the wide gap facing down on the belly of the clackin rap lure? Dosent tjis defeat the purpose?
