I've started on a Christian private school for about three days ago. I'm very shy, and not knowing anybody there is frightening. First day of school hang I with some girl and some other guys. We started to talk about where we live an so, and then this one handsome guy asked me where I come from. I tried to be funny and make a joke about my place, but no one laughed and just looked at me... It was so awkward. The next day when I was on my way to the cafeteria, I saw this same guy with another guy that also was on their way to the cafeteria, but they were some meters away from me. I walk really fast when I'm alone, so I reached them when this guy opened the door. He noticed me, smiled, said "good morning"and held the door open for me. Same day later he said hello to me when I walked past him in the hallway, and today, when I was on my way to my room, he stood in the hallway (because he has a room almost next to me), and he was eating something and held some boxes. He noticed me and said hello while he was eating and I answered hello back and smiled. Then he hinted to that he was abou to say something more, so I stopped and waited until he had swallowed his food. "I'm just standing here and eating" he said. I didn't even know what to answer, so I just laughed and started to walk to my room.... Is he just being nice to me? Does he think I'm awkward? Ugh.. :(

I have never spoken to him before and he is really popular, so I got really shocked and didn't know what to do. "Hey! Can I greet you?" he said and stuck out his hand. After this situation I have noticed that he sometimes looks at me and my best friend tells me that he sometimes stares at me when I'm not watching. I started to wonder that maybe he has a crush on me? But I don't know. I'm maybe just imagining something. After a year, I actually ask him on a date. We were standing in the cafeteria line, and he and his gang stood in front of me and my best friend. I was really nervous, so my best friend clapped on his shoulder and he turned around. Then I said "Hi! It was Eric, right? Do you want to go on a date with me?". Then he answered "no, I think I have to pass". And then his friends started to nag him and wanted him to say yes to me. "Come on Eric! Say yes! He says yes!". "No! I have to pass". Then i just said "oh, okey." And then they lett. After that they didnt even look at me. What is that supposed to mean? I feel so embarrassed.. I just want to burry myself under the ground. I dare not look at him ever again..

There is this one guy in my class that is always complaining about me. It is sooo annoying, because he only do it to me. When we are having P.E. for example, he is always telling me that I stand in the way, that I am doing it wrong, and that I "at least have to try". Even when we have english, he tells me that "ugh, you are not supposed to read that" and so on. It is so annoying. My friends tells me that I should not care, but I don't understand why he does it? And why only to me?

There is this one guy in my Spanish class that never meets up, and when he does, he fails his test. I can see in his eyes that he really doesn't want to be there. I really want to help him, but I'm afraid if he will find me weird or something. I sent him a friend request on Facebook yesterday and was going to send him a message that I can help him with the test we're going to have tomorrow. But I'm too afraid. What's should I do?

In seventh grade me and this guy were together. He liked me really much, but I dumped him because I thought he liked one of my friends (that friend of mine lied to me and told me time and again that he liked her, but she was just jealous. But sadly I didn't knew this until many years later). Through high school he tried to make med jealous with some girls. My friends told me that it was pretty obvious that he wanted to get back together. Specially at our graduating. He was going to move to another state after graduating, and during this graduating he stared at me with sad eyes. My best friend also liked him, and she wanted me to tell him on facebook because she was too afraid to tell herself. And when I wrote to him "because you're moving away, I want to tell you something", and it seemed like he was expecting to hear me say that I liked him, but when I told him about my best friend, he seemed Disappointed. It has been three years now since high school, but is there still a chance he thinks about me?

But my friend, who he also liked, but for a very short period, also send him a request, but he hasn't aceppted her or sent her a request. What is that supposed to mean?

I didn't even know how to answer, and just deleted the message (his friend doesn't know that I saw it). Today Eric had birthday, and a friend congrat him with a picture of him with a girl. That picture got a lot of likes. I'm really sad now. She looks like me as well. What to do?

There is this one guy in high school that is one year younger than me. He is one of the popular and sporty guys, while I'm one of the students that doesn't care about status and just want to have fun. I'm little shy though, but I laugh all the time. So people notice me. For many months ago I noticed him for the very first time. I was working with a project with another girl, and when we were searching for a room to work with our project, we passed this guy, and she apparently knew him. While they were talking, I noticed he always looked at me and studied me or something. After this episode I would always notice him at school, because I'm not familiar with guys looking at me like that. And I also found him handsome.. One day, months after I started to notice him, he actually aproched me while I was filling water in my bottle. I thought he was kidding with me, because his friends was around us and he smiled sooooo much! I've never seen a person so happy to greet me or whatever. So I thought he was kidding, and didn't take him seriously. I greeted back of course, but I just ran away. After that I have noticed him sometimes staring at me, and his friends too. I used to look at him a lot, but now, when we get eye contact, I get panic, and turn away quickly. His friends is always catching me staring at him. What to do?

My friend had a birthday party last night, and she invited a lot of friends from her school that I don't know. There was this one guy that I found really cute, and we two got often eye contact. I noticed that he had this grin on his face when we got eye contact. It wasn't any starring, but he would either look at me, turn away, look at me, turn away, and then look at me again, or look at me for I don't know, 2 to 3 seconds, and then turn away. What does this mean? I am a laughing person, and laugh at everything. So when my friend told something funny, I would laugh, and have this smile on my face. And I often looked at him and made eye contact while having this smile.
