  • My roommate finally moved out. One small problem is she trashed her room. Is it worth it to pursue damages?

Holes in the carpet. Paint stripped off a door. Garbage and random things left behind. Animal urine and feces created a horrible smell. Bathroom never cleaned. It will cost me hundreds to make it right again. I doubt she d pay a judgement in civil court, but I am wondering if I have any other options to get her to pay for all of the damage - legally? I am happy she s gone. I don t wish her harm. I m just appalled at how disgusting she actually was and I feel like we should be on Judge Judy or something so someone can at least tell her it s not okay to be that nasty.

  • I've decided to kick my roommate out. Should I say something, orjust give noyice?

My roommate brings home several different guys a lot. Sometimes it's 3 times or more per week. I don't feel sqfe anymore. I've tried to live woth it, but I can't sleep not knowing who ilmight be in the apartment when I come home or wake up. Sometimes I get woken up when she brings them home. It's usually the same 3-5 guys, but to me their just random guys. One day I expect I'll come home andthings will be missing or my dog will be hurt.

I'm the lease holder and I can legally tell her to leave. I've researched the laws in my state and I've written a notice to give her, I just haven't done it yet. I'm planning on giving it to her Saturday.

What I'm wondering is - should I talk to her before I give her written notice? I've made up my mind that she has to go. Nothing she says is going to change my mind. Part of me geels like it's the right thing to do to talk to her. Part of me just wqnts to avoid a confrontation and tape the notice to her door or something.

  • What are your favorite things about owning a Pit Bull?

    My two favorites:

The amount of love and affection she returns to me. She's the most affectionate do I've ever owned.

    The most amusing thing:

When people meet her, pet her, see her wiggle and her tail wag for them. Many will ask "What kind of dog is this?" I proudly say "She's a Pit Bull" And I watch as they have to control their reactions like she somehow just transformed from the dog they were loving on five seconds ago. She's such a good breed ambassador.

Together we are always showing people that not all Pit's are vicious or mean or deserving of their reputation.

  • What can we do for the Sochi stray dogs?

Does anyone know of a reputable charity to benefit the Sochi stray dogs? It's breaking my heart seeing their pictures and hearing about how they're being culled. I've been answering a lot of dog questions here and today it occurred to me that maybe there is something I can do to help them.

  • Why do yahoo videos play like slide shows on my broadband connection?

I've nearly given up on watching any videos on yahoo because they always seem to have bandwidth problems. The commercials however play just fine every time. Am I the only one watching segmented video? Yahoo is pretty mainstream now, so I'm surprised by this apparent neglect.
