So my best friend and I had a fallen out about four years ago, but recently we've started to talk again. We've texted but it seems she only does it when she's bored or is try to keep me interested. She's been seeing a guy this whole time but has never put a label on their relationship. I went to see her graduate and I spoke with her mom. All she said to her mom is did the other guy see or talk to me? What does that matter. If she's talking to me, I guess currently looks to rekindle friendship why does she care if he sees me? In my book he's a jerk and only treats her right when he wants something. My mistake in the past is I did everything for her and knew everything about her. This made us instant best friend but also put me in friend zone. She knows that I loved her in the past and she said she would be stupid not to be with me, yet she's not. We have forgave each other of text/email but she seems to be putting off meeting up with me. Given, she was really busy. But the next two weeks I know she's free. So how do I proceed so that I don't screw it up and she lets go of the wrong guy?

Basically, this girl that was my best friends 2 of our 5 year friendship because I said something to her about replacing me and our time with another guy. She cut me off and said I was being jealouse (I admit at the time I was a little clingy), so I contacted her boyfriend and asked him if he cared about her since he let her do whatever with this guy. I asked him if so stand up for yourself so that she'll know that we're tired of her using us. Instead he turned around and went to her and made me the bad guy. So much for best friend she didn't even try to talk to me about. She is at college but there's way discuss thing and she didn't want too. The few times she's been back she usually doesn't talk to me but last time I ignored her and she started telling me stuff. Then when I paid attention she stopped talking. She use to tell me if she broke up with her bf she'd be stupid not to get with me but it seems like she's with this other guy? Anyway I know she kind of used me, she's younger and immature and this other guy, that's now her best(boy) friend brings out the worse in her. I honestly believe he's why she won't talk to me. I've noticed she's always meaner when either she's been around him or she noticed that she feels comfortable and has started to talk to me.

I was going to write her a poem. I thought about it and I'm going to leave out most the negative things she done to me (she basically said I wasn't a good friend and that's not true. She got mad bc she was called out on her messing around; due the attention she needs to feel better about herself). This guy is using her because he wants sexual things form her. She knows it too and uses it to her advantage. Back to the question what else should I say or not say? Like I love her and miss her, but I don't want to be negative or clingy or creepy for that matter. She knows I love her I just want her back in my life; even if we have to start from scratch. I plan on giving her the poem in the next week or so after she comes back from college. Then I'm going to nicely ignore her so I don't bother her. She seems to want my attention but only when I ignore her. So any suggestion on the poem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Well she was dating this guy in high school. They were on a so called break but got back together before college. She went to college with a friend of hers and her brothers. He wants her and she knows it so she uses him while letting him use her. On and on with all these guys. I'm older and I care about her a lot but after last summer when she started replacing are time for the guy she's at college with she got mad and said she spends time with her boyfriend not him so much and I'm just jealous and judgmental. Well I contacted her bf, I know bad mood. I asked if he cared for her, told him to stand up for himself, and told him to let her know I contacted him. Well that blew up in my face and all she's said since then is she can trust me because I tried to rat her out. However, I've never lied to her put she's a pathological liar and I don't even thing she realizes it.

Yet she ignores the fact that I wasn't trying to keep it a secret. Also her bf tried to contact me why they were on break and her brother was in on it but that's okay to her. Also she ignores the fact that when she played sports, was sick, needed someone to talk to, or anything else I was there. Not her bf, friends, brother or even her parents really. Also she lied none stop and said she wanted to be with me an blah blah. Yet would turn around and go back to her bf the next day after he treated her like crap and made her cry.

I finally got her to text me back the other day and she just acted frustrated to talk to me. And repeated I ratted her out. I don't even think she's dating the same guy but still messes around with the one guy in particular and other "bad boys". I know I should go else where but every time I think I am finally over her I start thinking of her again. She needs to grow up and stop lying but I really wanted to marry her and I still want to be with her if she'd stop acting stupid since she's been at college.

But a guy that graduated with her brother came around and she started giving our time to him. She went to college with and was fooling around with him. In jealousy I asked her bf if he cared about her. Prior to this she stopped talking to me when I confronted her about replacing me.

Tonight I got her to talk first time since like Christmas & one day of spring break. She said I was a bad friend that's why she dropped me. She stopped talking weeks before I talked to her bf, yet she still claims that's the reason. At that point she acted like she didnt want to lose us. I know she's has used me some but does her caring show remorse. Last time she was home I ignored her so she told me some story how she thought of me. Then stopped talking. When she's around and in a good mood she acts likes she wants it fixed. But she never admits her wrongs or what she did to me. Lots of lies. It like she misses talking to me but when she realizes she talking to me or orhers are around she stops talking.

How do I get her to come around? I miss her time to time. But she's to immature to admit the wrong she did. I don't want to be pushy. What can I do?

[I am older than them which may be part of the maturity problem with them.] The thing was she was all about her boyfriend as it got closer to her graduation year she had less to do with him. She spent all the rest her time with me either at her house or church. She just recently went to college and her mutual "friend" of her brother went to school with her. They all know that he just wants one thing. She always told me she wouldn't cheat or do stuff because she had a boyfriend. I told her good. Even though we were best friends I wasn't about getting a girl to cheat on someone. Come to find out she'd been messing around with guys and girls (on a few occasions). That turned me of a little because I'm not about being with a lose girl with no morals. She told me she did with her boyfriend the whole week she was at the beach with her boyfriend. Then acted like she didn't want to and doesn't want to again. She lied so much to me even when she know I hated lying the most. The short time she didn't lie we never had problems.

I got over it and was still her best friend. I started to like her again. Last April is when the "friend" came back from basic. Since then she only made time for him. She got mad if I said anything and turned around and said I was just jealous. Her bf is only 15 mins from her college but they never spend time together. She and this friend have many late nights together that she keeps secret from her bf. Any any break she spends with the "friend". I was finally got over her and not needing her in my life. She came home for spring break and the more I ignored her the more she wanted my attention. That night she called me over and told me she had my fav dessert at school and was going to take a picture and text it to me. Then she said yea and stopped talking. That night a group of us went to eat about an hour after that. When she left she rolled down her window to talk to me. I texted a little after to tell her about a ticket. She said alrighty.

Saw her Wednesday night we didn't talk. Someone said something about help with a computer when I came in the room and she said to get me to do I knew more than her. She left and told everyone she'd see them in May. I texted a little later and told her I know she's dealing with stuff to be good and take care. She never responded.

So why did she start talking? Then totally shut me out again?! Her text are usually short I don't think that has any factor. My sister said she's playing cat and mouse. She found out I'd talk so she doesn't have to worry that I cut her out. I don't get. What do y'all think?

Ok, so I posted yesterday about my ex best friend. She never stopped meaning so much to me but she just dumped me. Since August she pulled more and more away from me with little to no explanation. He had a lot to do with a guy "friend" (and she has a boyfriend). I know a few things I did wrong but we always worked through things but she decided not to, saying things change.

Well, she's home for spring break from college and I gave her her space and she actually talked to me some. She even called me out tonight and told me about a desert she had bc she knows its my fave. She said I took a pic and was going to send it but yeah. She stopped talking bc she realized she was admitting she thought about me and didn't want to let me know. She usually keeps it all her feelings in and doesn't slip up.

Later I asked her mom if she was going to a theme park Saturday and she said she had to work. So I asked my ex friend to go and she said she was busy. I thought she may be telling a story so I asked "busy how?" She said its the only day to hang out with a friend. Then added she didn't know we're her pass was. She generally acted like she wanted to go. I texted her back about her pass she gave a short response but warmer than previous text.

So how do I keep from screwing up like I don't want to be too pushy, clingy or judgmental. I want to take it slow so I don't resort to old ways. I will continue to barely text her until we get closer. I know we she gets back around that go she get negative about us again. How can I keep her moving to being my friend again: what do I do? Just want to know if there's any tips or things I should remember when dealing with her. TY.

I texted her this past week just to say hope you felt better and have safe travel home. She replied "thanks". Which isn't much but at least she replied. I'll probably see her tomorrow. What can I say to her to get her to talk, but not be annoying. I already apologized, told her I cared about her and even gave her space. So what else can i do?

What I'd really like is for her to go to a theme park opening day next week; one we frequented in the pass. Last thing I want to hear is no. Honestly, I'd just be happy if we were friends again.

BACKGROUND: I was friends with this girl for like 5 years: 2 of which we were best friends. She goes to college near her boyfriend but attends college with a guy that graduated H.S. with her brother (who is sexually interested in her - she and her brother are aware). Well when she left in Aug. I feel like she forgot about me. I know she's busy but she finds all kind of time for this "friend". I said something she got mad, said I was jealous and it went down hill. She just recently started replying this year to my text again (I've only sent 2-3). They're short replies but the fact is she actually replied.

PS: Her boyfriend joined FB when they started college. She made a big deal about putting up their relationship status. In the last week she took it down but his still says they're together? It doesn't make sense unless her "friend" did it.

QUESTION: She'll be home for Spring Break this coming week and a theme park we frequented, together over the years, will be having opening day. If all the junk with the college "friend" hadn't happened I know we'd be going, but that's not the case. How can I show my confidence and dignity but still get her to go next Saturday with me? I've been working on my attitude and how to deal correctly with some of her childish behavior. She's worth it to me, but she holds it all in so I don't know what she's thinking.

Only way to contact her is text and I know that's not the best line of communication. I may see her Sunday, but she usually cuts off all emotion around me. But last month I saw her when her brother was having surgery and at times she acted like she use to, so I don't know what to think or do? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a female friend, we use to be best friends, who is in her second semester of college. This past week I was told she took her relationship status down but her bf still says he's with her. This makes me think that she just trying to get closer to the "friend"; who she admitted just wanted to get in her pants. Am I wrong to think this? She told me in the past that she'd be stupid not to be with me. Was that just talk? I can't figure out if I was just being too clingy and she needed space or I'm for the most part too nice and she's been using me?

Anyway, she stop talking to me with no reason and basically replaced me with another guy, her "friend". Then I did something and she got mad (I could've been wrong in what I did) and said that was the reason why. I told her tell me the whole truth. She wouldn't. She briefly talked to me/text a few times when she came back, when her brother was in the hospital. However, her family was around. She has me blocked me on FB and doesn't text me. I found out she was sick so I sent her a brief text saying I hope she's feeling better and that I hope she has a safe trip home for Spring break. She replied about an hour later, 'thanks." Was she just being cordial? I mean before February she wouldn't even text. Should I forget her and continue live life? Its hard we did a lot together and special during the spring-summer seasons, which are upon us. Help, thanks.

Ok so my best friend of 2 years (known almost 5) wrote me off and wouldn't tell me why. Part of it was bc she been treating another guy she's at college with better than me. She basically ignored me. Anyway, I became to clingy and she called me jealous and wrote me off instead of admitting she wasn't treating me right. I tried to talk to her around Christmas and she wouldn't give me any reason of what happened.

She came home I saw her and she was acting like her old self, given her family was around. So I had surgery today and texted her how I felt earlier. It went something like this: "Facing surgery once again brings me to ponder what's important, one thing is you. The fact is we haven't been talking. I dont kno the totality of what I've done to you, but if I could, I'd erase it all so the only thing left was ur beautiful smile. I'm not tryin to add stress to ur life. I just want u to kno that I care and I miss you."

Its been about 18+ hrs. I would give it longer but I know she recieved it and never puts off responding for that long. Was she being fake when she came home and is she over our friendship? It stinks because I care and try to do what's right just to be hurt again. So is my next step to move on and not look back?

She stopped talking and texting me but she came home recently due to her brother being in the hospital. She talked but I think it was so others wouldn't know she was giving me the silent treatment. She has been hurtful by rubbing how much time she spends with this guy; in the past she said things change and he's 5 mins away. I have kept silent so she could have her space and so I would't be so clingy.

She would never give me a clear reason why she wouldn't talk to me but she kind of acted like her old self this last time home. She's the type to hold it all in. Is she mad, embarrassed or does she just not miss me? She did respond to 3-4 of my text while she was home this last time, but never apologized or started a convo, other than a few jokes.

I miss her and the friendship we had. Should I let her go or tell her I miss her. I don't want to come off as needy or let her be in control again. However, I really do love and miss her. Would it be wrong to tell her I do or should I just stay silent?
