Is there a British or European spider with a white bottom and stripy legs?
It was a male (enormous pedipalps) and looked like a slimmer version of a young house spider in shape, about an inch across, with caramel-and-cream striped legs and a dark abdomen with a white tip. Googling shows me a White Tailed Spider, but apart from being Austalian, L. murina is too chunky. I failed to find a British spider that looks like this.
1 AnswerZoology1 decade agoIn bull-riding, what's better? Bullfighters or rodeo clowns?
Or does the question not even make any sense? I think they both do a similar job but I read that more places are using bullfighters now and not clowns. I can't watch much bull riding here, just an hour now and then on TV only, so it's hard to work it out for myself and it's hard to work out the real difference from reading online, hence the question. Insights into how bull fighting (in bull riding) and rodeo clowns work would be greatly appreciated.
(This isn't a question on whether bull riding is right or wrong. If I wanted to discuss that, I would ask, is bull riding right or wrong? If you want to soap box either for *or* against the sport as a whole, please open your own question and don't spam mine.)
