  • Physics pions, electrons, and annihilation?

I am writing a story involving physics for my granddaughters I was denied STEM as a kid so I want to encourage it with my grade school grandchildren.

In the story, I write "pions being annihilated by electrons unless the pions carry a greater charge". To be correct I would appreciate so greatly if someone educated in the field could check my usage and if wrong correct me. Thank you so very much.

  • Would you help create a world?

I am creating a world for my granddaughter and am a little out of my depth! She wants it to have two suns and a sixteen-hour day of sunlight. I would like to foster an interest in astronomy and math for her. Any concrete details I could feed into the story for her from someone knowledgeable in the sciences would be so appreciated! Thanks for your consideration and help, if given.

  • Gelogist to my rescue?

I am creating an alien world with a major school designed similar to an Early English Gothic Cathedral. I have it situated over a sandstone formation that allows for caverns underneath the mammoth structure of the school. What kinds of stone could the super structure be made of to create a realistic and beautiful structure that lasted perhaps for millenniums?

Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

  • How does this paragraph read?

I am not sure if my descriptions are okay. This is classic “love at first sight” between two young people. They are Initiates standing in line to receive their flight wings; signifying they have passed all flight exams and are now pilots. They are both dressed in plain off-white ponchos instead of their normal clothes. During Initiation all initiates are addressed as Fledgling. The heroine has just been called out of her line to come forward and receive her wings or “pinning”.

' “Fledgling Starsa”, her hair was so blonde; it was the color of snow, she walked with an easy assurance and confidence he couldn’t take his eyes off that white hair, did she have any coloring? Then after her pinning she turned facing him, as he stood helpless in his line, she walked back with a serene smile of pleasure on her red lips, her blue eyes flashing joy. He felt his heart fly out for the first time in his life. It was a feeling akin to being having the wind knocked out of him, only pleasurable. Then he felt those blue eyes fall upon him. He felt his face break into a smile at her and hoped it wasn’t his normal wicked smile, and then nodded his head slightly towards her. When she got back to her place in line, instead of turning her back to him as she stepped back into the line, she turned so they could keep smiling at each other. For the first time he felt himself grow thinking about the kind of home he had never wanted before let alone thought about. This realization caused him to hold her one more time in his eyes, before forcing himself to pay attention to the next young nucleus getting her wings.'

    Thanks.

  • King Arthur I or 2 and 3?

Since Arthur is in the names of Charles, and William there is a fair possibility that the House of Windsor will give Great Britain its first historical King Arthur.

Therefore, if Charles or William becomes King Arthur would he become the first King Arthur I or II?

  • What would be better?

I am starting a blog I chose to start it in Aries, not Pisces. Now I am deciding what day and hour to start it because I understand days and hours are influenced as well by the planets. I want both the Sun and Jupiter influence in this. What would be better do I want the Sun for the day and Jupiter for the hour or Jupiter for the day and the Sun for the hour? All help will be appreciated, thanks.

  • In 1928 Prince Henry was made Duke of Gloucester. Why?

I an unable to understand why he was made a Duke? He wasn't getting married which seems to be the big reason why Princes are made Dukes. What happened that resulted in Henry being made a Duke? His father King George V was ill in 1928. But wasn't that after Henry became a Duke? Any light on this would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

  • Could the pirate Jean Lafitte have morphed into Count Odet Philippe?

Could he be the reality behind Jose Gaspar?

The self-styled Count Odet Philippe arrived in the late 1830’s in Safety Harbor located in the North Western Tampa Bay. Count Philippe is credited with being the first European to settle in Pinellas County. Self styled like in the Count of Monte Christo.

Pirates, their lore have a strong hold on the Tampa Bay area that is home to the annual Pirate Jose Gasparilla Festival. Jose Gaspar, is also known as the last of the “last of the Buccaneers.” However, Jose did not appear in historical record until the early 1900’s. When he did, it was much further south than the Tampa Bay area where he did showed up.

The dates of all 3 men are comparable, and 2 of the 3 were definitely historical real people.

I do believe the Count was Lafitte. There is no right or wrong answer. What do you think?

  • What effect did Sargon the Great have on Egypt's 6th dynasty ?

Background: Sargon the Great was the founder of the Akkadian Empire, he was not born to the throne. The story of his birth and salvation from the river compares to that of Moses. Is not the effect I am looking for. Sargon was a Semitic and he spoke the eastern dialect of the Semitic language that became known as the Akkadian language. Later the Akkadian language became the international language of the ancient world. It is related to the western Semitic languages known as Hebrew, Arabic and mildly related to ancient Egyptian.

Clue: Weni the Elder, of Egypt's 6th dynasty became an extremely important person because of Sargon's Semitic Empire.

  • How could Pharaoh Smenkhkare & his Queen Meritaten have died of plague at the workmen's village?

This village contained the families of the tomb builders. Smenkhkare and Meritaten died within a short time of each other. I do subscribe to a co-regency between Akhenaten and Smenkhkare. That there was plague in this village is pretty certain from newer findings of carriers of fleas, and fleas themselves in the village. Even with this evidence of plague in the village Amarna continued to be used as a royal city during Pharaoh Tutankhamun's and Ay's reigns. Daily communications between these villagers and royalty was not common or frequent.
