Got a call from my ex, using one of our mutual friends phones at 5am today..... just wanting to know if I was okay...... do you think this was the primary motivation.?

She broke up with me and said her priorities changed and she needed space. but she continues to call and check up on me every day sometimes more than once. She moved me to a different city with her and I said I was going home and she started to cry. I told her I was going to travel alone and she got a really sad expression on her face. I hugged her last week and she had a tear in her eye. We went out for drinks and slept together a week ago and she told me she loved me but didn't have time for me right now. She also said she was scared that by the time she'd want me back I wouldn't want her. I know its her busy season for work and shes working 16 hour days., so I'm still hanging on a little because her season slows down in about a month. but should I get over it or keep hanging on? We bonded heavily over a lot of things and were together continuosly for like 6 months, all day every day so I could see where we need some alone time. Should I wait? or get on with it?

trying to figure out why my montero doesn't run anymore. i had put in a rebuilt ecm prior to this to get it running originally, then i was driving and it died completely, and was actig like the ecm isn't there anymore..... ie.... not check engine light, and when i connect to the diagnostic port on the vehicle it acts like computer is bad, but when i sent it in under warranty for repair they said the computer is 100% ok. I hav e checked the ignition module, and the coil, it has a new distributor, plugs, plug wires etc.... i get spark up to the coil. but not beyond when i crfank over engine. if you have any ideas this would be appreciated because both me and my mechanic are stumped.

So i'm going to get a new puppy.... I've always had labs, but now I'm getting a new dog, pretty much decided between a yellow lab and a American bulldog, after meeting a lab bulldog mix which was the awesomest dog I've ever met besides my labs.

What are some similarities, differences between the breeds. What are pros/cons of the american bulldog.

I was recently look at satellite photos of davis-monthan AFB, and notice there are many fighter and bomber aircraft parked there that are still current aircraft in the AF and Navy's arsenal. Why are these are craft just sitting there doing nothing? Why aren't they being sold to other countries for something useful. The f-14 tomcat at $38mil a piece is a prime example.... It cost the taxpayers a billion dollars to have these aircraft just sit on the ground doing nothing???? These are current aircraft. I can understand the b-52's, because there is no reason to have that many aircraft with those capabilities in service anymore.

I'm having trouble finding decent girls who are into what I like. I'm kind of hippyish but don't dress or act like it., don't have much motivation for money, I have a job and love what I do, ( cooking) The only things besides cooking that I truelly love in this world is camping/hiking/canoeing and my obsession with bicycling. I'm in incredible shape look good etc... It just seems that the entire world is obsessed with money and things. Is there any hope for a person like me to find a decent girl or am I Condemned to a life of lonelyness.? Are there any girls out there that really enjoy camping, hiking and canoeing, or am i just going to always get a ewww, i hate camping answer?

I'm interested in getting out of the united states for a few months if possible for a few months in october or so, as a young chef I'm really interested in learning in france, has anyone done this? What visas do I need and who do I contact to apply for them? Is it possible to get paid decently enough to live off the money I'm making while I'm there, what regions of france are good for this sort of thing at this time of year?

So this girl won't leave me alone, takes advantage of me at my weakest moments, like when I'm sleeping. I can't figure out how to make her go away.

I started drink to the point of being incoherent every day, stopped taking showers and washing me clothes hoping to keep her away, but now she says "your so punk rock" and thinks its cute. I even left her a note in her mailbox that says "your dead to me" and she thought it was funny.

I can't get her to stop showing up at my house when I don't answer her calls, shes already kicked my door down so i can't even lock it anymore. For some reason she doesn't understand the meaning of get out of here and leave me alone.

I don't know what else to do. If she shows up tonight I'm going to vomit on her in her sleep, hopefully it works.... Anyone else have good ideas?

I keep sleeping with this girl who is 10 years younger than me. We sleep together and then act like we don't even know each other the next day, then we won't even talk for like a week. Then I'll call her or she'll call me and then we'll get wasted and fight and then sleep together again. Do I give it up or just keep it going.

I don't make much money but I live cheaply, I would like to start and IRA and deposit $100/month in it. Where do go to start this sort of thing? Any good recomendations on what to do when I start?

I was wondering if anyone knew of some good solo canoes for week long wilderness trips. I'd like something stable, fast on open water that can haul me plus a small load and maybe have enough room for my dog to rest in comfortably. (less the 550 lbs total)

I got hit in the face with a trash can while I was drunk last night. Now 4 teeth are kind of loose, will they be tight in my mouth again if I stop eating and don't get hit anymore? Or are they just going to fall out at some point?

I love cooking, I study every night even when I don't have a reason to. I've worked my way from a pizza place to a prep/line cook in a super gourmet restaurant. I just noticed that the pay really doesn't change at all. Although I love my job and wouldn't care if all it paid was minimum wage, I'm just wondering how does a person make more money in a kitchen? Is it worth going to school or should I try to find a ACF apprenticeship and take management courses on top of that?

Yes I end up make decent money when I work 60-70 hours a week but I think this might be my career. Also what do chefs do when they are too old to keep up in a kitchen and can't retire Is there an old chef graveyard somewhere?

I have a labrador I adopted at 4 years old, he is a great dog, smart, obedient, loves people and children, but he hates small dogs and he snarls then hides from my fat black cat. he seems to have a problem with animals that are smaller than him, how can I fix this?

Also when I take him to the park to play, (he loves tennis balls) he always runs off and jumps in the river, then he comes back with no problem. How can you keep a Lab out of water??? is it possible?

How much money should i spend on a professional chef knife. I am thinking of a single edge japanese knife, doesn't matter if its stainless or not. Last one I had was a suissin and i liked it until the stupid prep kid picked it up and ended up knicking the blade.

Okay, so I need to stop drinking because whenever I do, I turn into a total jackass and regret it and feel like crap for the next day.

I have great friends, but all of them drink almost nightly. I don't want to lose these people because I love my friends, but I need to not drink anymore.

How can I keep these friends and not drink. I've tried going out with them and not drinking but I'm an alcoholic and its really easy for me to forget that I shouldn't drink.

Ummm, i think they're just because I've been riding my bicycle 30mi a day and have bad hygiene and never wash my clothes, but I want to be sure, so how do I find a free clinic in my area.....

Do they still put the Q-Tip where it hurts, or do they use blood tests now? Because they are open and inflamed sores, will they swab them to see if they are herpes, or can this be done with the blood test? If they have to swab them, can I do this myself, or will the scary *** nurse at the clinic have to grab my stuff and do it herself?

If the test comes back positive for anything, how do I tell the crazy ***** I've been having sex with that she gave me this without getting really pissed off?
