  • VSC light on Scion XB?

I drive a 2006 Scion XB. The VSC light came on the other day and now stays on. The owner's manual says this means Vehicle Stability Control and just says to take it to the dealer for service. I'm suspicious of such vauge advice. What does this light really refer to? What is it saying is wrong with the car? What components should be checked? Where is the sensor that activated this located?

  • disassembling glue joints in wooden furniture?

I need to take apart a wooden crib to replace some broken pieces. How can I take apart the old glue joints that are still intact so I can pull it apart without breaking any of the pieces that are still good?

  • can I shut off the the 'tips' and 'spell checker'?

Is it possible to shut off the 'tips' and 'spell checker' that come up as I type? It would be great to check spelling *after* I have my thoughts typed out but to have it come up as I type is just an annoying distractions that sometimes breaks my train of thought.

  • Pasta bake recipe with uncooked noodles?

Does someone have a recipe for pasta bake that does not require you to cook the noodle first? Looking for something simple that I can put in the oven, set the timer, and not have to watch it. I used to do this with pasta, a jar of sauce, and water but I can't remember how much water to use. I know it you don't use enough water the pasta comes out crunchy and if you use too much water everything is just runny.

  • What are good alternatives to Yahoo 360?

I'm just getting too fed up with all the glitches in Yahoo 360, Sick of all the times it's erased a blog entry before it posted, wouldn't let people comment, wouldn't let me view new messages for days, weeks, or in one case months at a time. I like 360 because it is simple to use and fairly easy to navigate other people's pages. I don't need a lot of fancy stuff, just want to blog about whatever is on my mind and let people comment. Being able to add pictures is a bonus but I don't even consider that a requirement.
