Keerasee
Red-headed Irish gal with a passion for reading and writing. WILL be published some day (if someone finds a cure for procrastination). Love reading, and if you could be bothered to read this you can be bothered to pick up the 'Chaos Walking' series by Patrick Ness. Seriously! They're amazing! I cannot understand why there aren't more people getting excited about them! Anywho, you'll usually find me in B&A, giving advice about writing and generally putting off actually working on my own stuff... "Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, usually do."
If your character wrote a book...?
... what would it be about? Or are they more of a poet/playwright?
Assuming they have time to write during all the world saving/soul searching/villain slaying that characters seem to be getting up to these days.
21 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoTheme songs for your characters?
Personally, when I'm working on something I love to have a 'theme song' for each character, something that I can listen to and just think "Yes! That's him/her!" It actually really helps me to get back into their head when I've got writers block!
Does anyone else do that? If so, what songs do you think fit/represent your characters?

Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what artists inspire or motivate you? Do you have a 'writing' playlist, or a certain artist or style that you listen to when working on a particular project or scene?
Just curious :)
11 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoIf your book was made into a movie, what character would you want to play?
If you had the chance to play any character (regardless of age, appearance, gender etc.) who would you choose?
Personally, I'd like to play Lennie (who's a girl, by the way) - she's one of my main characters, but not the protagonist. She's quirky and strange, but also a bit disturbed due to years being locked up in the Institute with people prying around in her mind... well, either her or my villain, Professor Harkwood. Because people who are crazy or evil are just so much more interesting!
BQ: If you weren't going to play them, have you any idea what actor you'd cast?
7 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoWho is the best villain you've ever created?
I've just started working on a story where there's a very clear antagonist, and I'm realising that this is the first time I've ever really included an outright 'bad guy' who actually plays a substantial role in the story, rather than lurking ominously in the background all the time. (Although he does enjoy a bit of lurking from time to time - what kind of bad guy would he be if he didn't?)
I was wondering, who is the best villain you've ever come up with for one of your stories? What makes him/her work so well? Have you got any advice for writing a great villain?
Thanks! :)
