  • Info on store brand formula

I was reading a site that said the Target Brand formula is comparable to Similac. Has anyone else tried this? The site was pretty low key, but cool. Just curious.

  • Can you identify this?

This was sitting on my steps the other night, and scared me silly - what type of spider is this?

If you are afraid of spiders don't look - this thing was bigger than my hand!

  • Similac Ready Feed?

I've been using the regular Similac Advance w/Iron powder (blue can), and that's fine. We were at my MIL and I had to run to the store to get her some formula to eat (I've just weaned her from the breast, so this was traumatic itself). Since I have tons, I just went and got the ready feed 8 oz bottles. When I went to pour it - it was BROWN. Almost like the soy formula use to be. I double checked the packaging, etc. Is this normal? I wasn't comfortable with it, and went and got the powder anyways, but I was curious if there is something about the premixed that makes it brown in color, or should I call and complain?

  • Is it wrong to be irritated over baby shower planning?

My mother in law, sister in law, and best friend are planning a baby shower for me...but they are being top secret, I'm only allowed to know the date and that it is co-ed, and if one of them slips something and I mention it to one of the others, I get an attitude about it. If I ask questions I am told not to worry about it, I just have to show up. I find this a bit irritating. I am told that I am just going to need to let go and let them handle it. It's not that I want control of it, I just want to know what is going on, and feel I should be involved. Is this wrong? Would it irritate you?
