Application for exchanging streaming of screen data?
Is there an application that allows two or more people to connect and see streaming videos of the screens of the others? Preferably one that opens in a window. Please do not answer remote assistance as this is not what i'm looking for. I don't want to control their input, i merely want to exchange screen data. Besides that, remote assistance is a pain to set up across a country.
I would like an application like this, as i believe it would be useful in teaching my friends how to use applications, etc.
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoWorking around port forwarding for Opensim server and other servers?
I am running a LAN network in my room.
My computer, part of the LAN network, is the only computer with internet access.
The wireless network my computer connects to is a WPA secured network.
The router I connect to is password protected and I cannot set up port forwarding on it. There is no way whatsoever.
I am NOT asking how to connect to a router, as I know how to do that. Also, I am not asking what the standard admin name and passwords are for routers, as i know that too.
My question is how, if it is possible, could I work around port forwarding. Is there an application I could run on my desktop or something else I could set up to send the data another way? I am trying to an Opensim server on my pc. The server uses up numerous ports, as I created numerous sims.
Unfortunately, the fact that I can't set up port forwarding on the router is making this difficult.
Any useful information is greatly appreciated however,
please refrain from responding unless you understand the question and have some actual knowledge and experience in the subject.
2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoCollege Algebra - Factoring a Trinomial?
I am pretty good at math, but this one is a headache.
^( ) means exponent
2x^(2/3) - 5x^(1/3) - 3 = 0
I tried cubing it, because that would theoretically fix it, or so i thought, but that became a big mess.
I am not looking for the answer, but instead how to complete a problem like this.
3 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoReplacing the Side View Mirror Glass in a BMW?
I have a 1995 BMW Series 5. Nice car, but it needed several things fixed. All i need to do now is replace the mirror glass and paint it now. I bought the glass a while back, and i can't figure out how to install the glass.
I bought a guide but the instructions are pointless. It says to insert a screw driver into a hole in the base of the mirrors housing and turn the ring inside the mirror to disengage the lock on the mirror... there is no hole. It appears to be impossible to open. I even took the time to remove the whole mirror, housing and all, from the door frame but that was pointless. The Housing has no screws, no holes, and appears to be made of metal internally, and two or three pieces of plastic externally. These plastic pieces refuse to budge (I tried using a screw driver, and it screwed up the paint job).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
