Hi,

The DVD Drive on my laptop and desktop, both, has been broken! I thought about buying an external DVD-writer drive, but I was wondering, if I can use it for burning movies (from AVI to DVD format) by using the external DVD drive?

I know I need a burning software too, but, I just want to know if with the right software I can burn DVDs and CDs with the external one and just ignore the internal one since it's broken? I mean does it work that way?

Also, if you know any good DVD burner software, please let me know. One that can burn movies from AVI to DVD format, so, it can be watchable on DVD players.

Hi all,

I have made an A3 poster in photoshop, and now, I have to print it out in both A3 and A4 papers.

Since the data is in A3, so there is no problem with printing it out as A3.

But I was wondering how I can print this out in A4 papers without the poster being cropped out or anything?

I am trying to make a poster with photoshop..

and when I make new layers on top of the background, the edges of the pictures(of the new layers) are so rough, and it does look like it has been copy and pasted! How can I fix this? If possible without changing the opacity of the new layers.

I am trying to write a paper and as my reference i have a book, which i will cite it twice, but just different pages - is there a correct way to do this without not having to mention the author and blah blah again?

Basically the number (of the citation) is at the end of the paragraph or sentence.. and then , at the end of the paper, the number shows the reference...

Im using APA style,, and I have no idea how/what to do without not repeating myself!

as you see its the same book that is mentioned twice in a row ( [7] and then [8] ) with just different pages, so , i was wondering if there is a way to mention [8] without author and so on...

I have some data, and this is an example of how it looks like;

Black 2%

White 14%

Blue 6%

And so on..

So, I am trying to make a graph for this data where the horizontal line is the colors and the vertical line is the "numbers" (2, 14, 6 here).. but since the biggest number here is 14, so when I try to make the graph, it automatically sets 14 as the biggest number in the vertical line, while I want it to show it out of 60. I know it's going to be harder to read the graph if it's gonna show it out of 60, but that's what I want. how do I do this?

Any kind of help is absolutely appreciated!

I have a question about powerpoint lay-outs.

Is there any way that I can make the back ground of each slide in different colors?

Like one slide is black, the other gray, the other dark gray and so on? I'm trying to change the back ground colors, but it changes for all the slides. I was wondering if there is any way to change for each slide seperately.
