I've had a bad month....I backed into a car while on a steep hill (I drive a stick), then a few weeks later, I rear ended someone. The first one went through insurance, as it was a newer car that I couldn't afford to fix. The rear ending one will be 700 bucks or so, and they're willing to work outside of the insurance process. Anyone out there have any wisdom regarding what would be less costly for me in the long run? I haven't had any claims or incidents in over 5 years.
