Hi, Indian adoption NOC (as an Australia living in India).?
I would like to speak to an Australian (foreigner living in India) who has approached the Australian High Commission in India and enquired about a NOC for adoption.
Unable to register with CARA without a NOC. How easy is it to obtain one of these?
Thanks in advance

How do you get an No objection certificate and how are the follow up home visits conducted, if you are applying to adopt through the Australian expatriate system and as a foreigner living in India ? Intention is to eventually return to live in Australia. Thank you!

4 AnswersSenior Citizens7 years agoVictoria Australia law. Can you add an executor to a deceased estate without other executors knowing?
I have heard on the grape vine that my sister is trying to add an executor to my deceased fathers estate. I am an executor of this will. My mother holds life interest and is an executor, and my sister holds both power of attorney for her and is also an executor of my fathers will. Does my sister have any power to add another executor without my knowledge?

4 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoHas anyone attended an Asylum and immigration tribunal appeal for maintenace of funds?
Has anyone been through an AIT appeal due to maintenance of funds issues? I am attending an oral hearing soon. I am appealing against my refused highly skilled migrant extension visa. I was refused because I 'accidentally' missed out one month bank statement
1 AnswerImmigration1 decade agoRefused Highly skilled migrant visa extension (tier 1 general). Can anyone help?
The home office has refused my Highly skilled migrant visa extension (under tier 1 general) and has sent me an appeal form.
I failed 'accidently' to provide supporting evidence of maintenance of funds with my application (which I do have for the 3 prior to the date of my application).
After speaking to the homeoffice, they were very unsympathetic and cannot guarentee that I will be allowed to stay in the country. I have faxed supporting evidence from my bank along with my appeal thismorning.
Has this happend to anyone else?
Do you think I will we get my extension?
How long does it normally take for an 'appeal' decision?
I am very nerouse and sad :-(
Thank you.
3 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoUK HSMP visa extension. Is there any restriction on how long I can go back to my home in Australia for?
I have received a HSMP visa extension. But I want to go back to Australia for a while to work and spend time with my family.
If I were to go home for 6 months - would this void my HSMP visa?
How long are you allowed to leave the UK for at any one time?
Thanks

I am about to apply for my HSMP extention. I have worked 2 years on the HSMP visa and hope to extend it again - which I believe will allow me to work in my job for another 2 years.
Am I able to apply for indefinate leave to remain in the UK after a total of 4 working years? AND
I am working as a locum therapist. Although I am full time, I am not permanent and was wondering if this may impact on me being accepted for a dual passport.
Thank you for your help.

2 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhere can you go to buy bed bug spray?
Hello,
I want to spray my luggage bags before I move them out a place I am staying which has evidence of bed bugs.
I doubt that they are in my luggage as I have not been there for long, but I don't want to risk transporting them 'just in case' a few have jumped on board.
Standard fly/wasp spray does not kill bed bugs.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you
2 AnswersPacking & Preparation1 decade agoRyanair contact details?
Ryanair only provides premium rate contact numbers. When I call them (costs from 10p - over 1pound and minute), a recorded automative services speaks for about 4 minutes. Then regardless of what option I place, it refers me back to the internet site. I tried pressing option '8' to talk to someone but the phone just goes 'dead'. I have wasted over £20 in calls.
I need to confirm my flight as I did not write down the confirmation number as I didn't have a pen and unfortunately I have not received a confirmation email either.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoCan signs of dementia or alzheimers be painful feelings of 'fireworks', 'sparks' and 'throbbing' in the brain
Hello,
My mum is 63 years old.
For more than 2 1/2 years she has complained of 'fireworks' in the brain. Her head throbbs when she lays down and she has much trouble sleeping. She has not been a well woman for many years and the doctors have not been able to detect anything abnormal. She had a brain scan about 2 years ago and is to go for another one next week.
Mum is now starting to panic. She is getting forgetful and has insight into 'silly' things she is doing. (Eg parking the car, then trying to put 20 cents into where the key goes before getting out of the car).
She describes that she can feel 'things' bursting in her head and this has been going on for the past 2 years, but worse lately.
Can anyone please provide me with any suggestions?
