Next Several Snakes To Obtain?
Ok, I FINALLY got a snake, a Ball Python for Christmas. I want to get more. I' put them in a rack system with heat, and everything they'd need. I want to get 4 more snakes. What 4 would you recommend for me? (Just so you know, I don't want anything that could killl me. I'm not old enough for a Burmese.)
Tell me what you think I should get next. Price IS a problem. I don't want anything more than $125. And nothing over 7 feet.
GIMME your top 4
4 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoWhat Does THIS Dream Mean?
For the first time in 5 years, I had a different dream.
It's all pretty hazy. All I remember from it is that I'm holding a puppy and it starts to lick me. I have never had a dog, do not have one now, and only my aunt and uncle have one. What does it mean?
Also, this dog seems very familiar...
4 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoIs Having The Same Dream For The Past 5 Years a Bad Sign?
Like the title says, I have had the same nightmare for the past 5 years. I have it at least 20 times a month. The other nights, I do not dream.
This is how the dream goes:
At the beginning, I am Skydiving about 30,000 feet above the ground. (Keep in mind, I am not yet old enough to Skydive). For about 30 seconds of the dream I am just freefaling. You know, twisting around, doing flips, like you would when you really are skydiving.
After about 30 seconds of that, I decide to open my 'chute. It does not open.
For the next 30 seconds AGAIN, I am freefalling. In my mind, I know that I am going to die in the dream, but it seems like I'm not nervous.
I suddenly hit the ground. Instantaneously, I feel a very soft blow to the chest. Everything goes black.
I awake in a twisted position, and my chest is slightly sore (hint hint). None of my family has come in to my room that night. Then, My parents come into my room to get the day started (I have to go to Junior High pretty early).
Can someone tell me what this dream means? Why does it repeat itself? Why does my chest feel sore that morning? (That's what confuses me the most).
If you can help me, I'd really appreciate it.
5 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoWhich Makes A Better Pet? Green Tree Python or Amazon Basin Emerald Tree Boa?
The title says it all.
Can someone tell me as much as they can about them?
How big do they get?
How big of a cage do they need?
Which one accepts handling more? And so on.
Thank you.
5 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoWhat Can I Do To Convince My Parents To Let Me Own Multiple Snakes?
Duh. Title says all. You all know I want snakes. Not just one, but a lot. Like, 5 to 10. But my Dad says, in this house, I'll be lucky to get 1. Is there a way to let him let me own multiple snakes of my choice? Of course, I wouldn't think of owning any large pythons, or boas at my age. Not yet, anyway.
I'm really counting on people for this. Don't give me all that "responsibility" s**t. I've already tried that. I need concrete, almost guaranteed evidence that owning multiple snakes is good.
I already know how I'd set up their cages and everything.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
4 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoDoes a Sand Boa Make A Good First Snake?
Okay. No one's really helping with my other questions.
I did a little research, and I've heard Sand Boas are pretty popular. Could they be a good first pet?
Here are some of my questions?
How big do they get?
How many can I keep in one cage?
What is their basic temperament?
What is their Activity Level?
Please help.
3 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoWhat Is The Best First Snake As A Pet?
Okay, I admit I ask a lot. But this time is different.
I want to know what snake makes THE BEST first pet. It doesn;t matter if it's python, boa or anything.
Criteria are:
It can't cost more than $300 for the snake itself
It can't be more than 6 feet long
It has to be friendly (duh)
I'd like for it's activity level to be medium. Able to tolerate a few hours of handling, but also kind of inquisitive.
It can't be very high maintenance.
Thanks!
4 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoWhich one: Ball Python or Rosy Boa?
Ok, no one really helped me on the last question. I narrowed it down to the 2 above. Which one is better?
Criteria are same.
1 AnswerReptiles1 decade agoBall Python, Rosy Boa, or Corn Snake?
This is a similar question to another one I asked. And in that category, the best was Ball Python. Now, which of THESE snakes is the best? Criteria are:
Size
Level of Maintenance
Temperament
Activeness (as long as it's unable to escape, that's fine.)
Minimum Cage Size
Thanks! Again!
4 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoWhat's With My Guinea Pigs?
This is out of what I like. My family has 2 Guinea Pigs. They spend their time between 2 cages, one to sleep in, one to eat and drink in. And somehow, they stink up each cage enough so that we have to clean them every 5 days. Is this normal? Because it's certainly annoying!
5 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoBall Python, Spotted Python, Children's Python, or Irian Jaya Carpet Python?
Ok. I want to get a snake. There is a good chance I can get one. I have narrowed it down to the above species. Which is the best? Please tell me why. Criteria are:
Size
Level of Maintenance
Temperament
Activeness
Minimum Cage Size.
Thanks!
