  • I am wondering about the Czars appointed by Obama have?

I am a little confused. What is there main purpose and function, is this function not already being handled by someone else in the government, who is paying them and who do they answer to besides the president, who gave him the power to do this, and last but not least, does this not destroy the checks and balances in our constitution. Any help appreciated.

  • Can someone give me some comparisons?

I want to know if someone can share some comparisons about $1 trillion dollars, since we have to pay it back to China anyway. i.e. if you spent a million dollars a day since Jesus was born you would still not have spent one trillion dollars, tell me in your own terms what one trillion dollars is worth?

  • What do you think, did I handle this right?

I just recently joined FB after my sister showed me some of her old HS classmates on her list which included my old BF. So I sent him a msg, not friend request, just saying hello and he responded back, I sent him a friend request then, which he accepted and we caught up on families and kids, careers, talked about old times, etc, maybe two or three messages at most, very casual. Then his wife sends me a friend request and I sent her a msg asking if she was serious and she went off like a rocket, calling me names, cursing, calling my family names, threatening etc. I just responded by telling her to use spell check and grow up, then I sent him a msg saying if it was going to be such drama why did he even accept my friend request and deleted his profile. I was a little annoyed, but what would you have done differently?

BTW-my husband was fully in the loop about me contacting him and did not have a problem with it.

  • What is the etiquette rule for contacting old friends on Facebook?

I mean if you just want to check in with some old friends from high school, but not start up a relationship, then would you accept the friend request or just send a message saying no thanks, would not responding at all be considered unnecessarily rude? Isn't that kinda the point of social networking sites?.

  • Why did the Congress approve purchasing new jets when they bully forced companies to cancel orders for theirs?

Doesn't that seem a little hypocritical? Couldn't they just rehabilitate some of the older ones for a lot less money?
