I am the proud owner of a Shiba Inu mix named Fritz. His comical antics, independent nature, and excited yodels make each day happier. In high school I worked as a trail guide on a horse ranch with 60 horses, it was the hardest yet best job I have ever had. I worked in a pet supply store for two years that believed in healthy, high quality alternatives to grocery store dog foods, including raw diets, giving me the opportunity to educate myself thoroughly in dog and cat nutrition. I spent summers in college as a kennel assistant at a vet clinic. I am a spay/neuter advocate of all pets unless by some chance you are one of the few responsible breeders out there or you actively show your dog. I believe in positive reward based training combined with consistent corrections for negative behavior. And finally, I love helping people here with their dogs, despite the fact that so many in the dog section are clueless, the few that share my passion make it worthwhile.
