  • 2010 MLB All Star Game tickets

How far in advance do they usually sell MLB all star game tickets? I saw that the Angels are hosting the 2010 ASG and wanted to get tickets ASAP since it's my hometown.

  • Running wires under new cork flooring?

in my house, we're replacing our decade-old carpet with new cork flooring. however, that means that the tv cables and internet wires currently running beneath the carpet will have to be moved. what would you recommend with what to do with the wires...since i assume it would be difficult to run wires under a cork floor.

  • setting default screen resolution.?

normally this isn't a problem, but let me explain the situation:

i volunteer at the local elementary school and help with their computer lab. there are a few computers that, when they start up, the screen resolution is 640X480. the kids that use them to not have any administrative rights, nor can right-click on stuff, so the kids aren't the problem. each time I reset the resolution in the display properties, when the computer restarts, they go back to the 640X480. How do I get them to stay on the higher resolution? all of the computers are Dells and are running XP pro.

    any help is appreciated.

  • Guitar pedal power supply?

    Hey guys,

I have a boss ds-1 distortion pedal powered by a Visual Sounds 1Spot power supply. Often, i get a lot of hum and extra noise. would it be reduced if i powered it off of the wall as opposed to a daisy chain? Also, i've been looking at some of the other power supply options, like power bricks. any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What do you think of downloading software?

I've seen a lot of people asking for places to download software for free (thus, illegally). I know my thoughts on this, but what do you think? Is it okay to download software like Photoshop that costs a few hundred dollars?

I know the downloading scene has been around for a long time, and I'm no stranger to it. but i wanted to see what the general public thought about it (or at least Y!Ans.)
