I need a decent small business server package?
I have been running Microsoft SBS 2003 since it came out (and 2000) before that and LOATHE it. It is clunky, complicated. the Exchange Server is ridiculously complex and all up vast overkill for a business of less than 200 staff. (I have 7). Does anyone know a simple alternative that will do file sharing, email, remote access and good security ? I have never used Linux and am not keen on learning command line stuff so something with a simple GUI would be good.
5 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoAre staff at Y! answers politically biased ? Why do anti-republican questions get deleted ?
Right wing or pro Republican questions seem to be fine around here, but anything with another perspective seems to get deleted far more regularly. Is Yahoo running a conservative agenda ?
15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoNeed a recipe for honey wurst.?
I am flummoxed and boggled. I can usually track down a good recipe for just about anything in a minute or so - but not Honey Wurst ? Anybody got one ? (BTW, PLEASE no "Best of the Wurst" jokes - I have just spent an hour wading through a million "Wurst" sites & blogs and they all seem to think that one was funny.). This is a major emergency as bragging rights are at stake.
Cheers
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade agoI am trying to choose a baby pram / capsule and getting confused.?
the idea of a capsule that can be used as a basinette and will also lock into the car sounds good. The idea is that we do not have to disturb the critter when we move about.
I have seen other answers saying that the capsule part of the equation is a waste of $, however I want to hire or buy second hand so this is not such a drama.
Can anyone recommend such a system ? I am in OZ
Thanks. This is our first, and whilst initially we said that a gunny sack and an old cardboard box would be fine reality is starting to set in - on the other hand I know most first timers buy a mountain of stuff they dont really need.
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade agoroast porchetta Roman style ?
The best sandwich I ever had was from a stall near the central train station in Rome - a heavily salted, whole suckling pig with herbs and a light gravy on crusty white bread. The herbs - (rosemary, garlic and I think Thyme) were pressed into the crackle and it had been grilled over charcoal. There was also a marianade and I have never been able to pin this down.
I have tried a few porchetta recipes but they are never quite the same. Any ideas what the magic ingredients may be ?
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade agocan anyone reccommend a good registry cleaner for XP ?
I need to service 3 XP Pro machines. I need to clean the registry, compress the content and update drivers without too much hassle.
Used to use acutils but this no longer seems to work and need a reliable, high quality registry cleaner with lots of options.
Free would be nice of course but a modest payment is ok too.
Cheers
6 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoAnyone used an anoxic pocket setup in fresh water ?
I have wondered for some time why freshwater keepers (including me) were so paranoid about "anaerobic" pockets in tanks given this denitirification process is so vital in wetlands and natural systems.
I have been trying to research "plenum" or anoxic pockets but most of the info seems to be marine / berlin method keepers. Has anyone tried this in a freshwater system ?
Does this mean I should heap up the substrate and throw away the gravel filter ? I have silver dollars in my main tank so plants are not really an option. Can I try bacteria instead for nitrate removal ?
