Idk what is causing it is not due to octane I strictly use 93 Octane Car is a 2005 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 And I have already tried using Injector cleaner and still no luck

My friend is looking into getting a first car his dad wants him to get a stick shift so i recommended Lamborghini But his dad wants him to get a Hyundai Tiburon Idk think the Lambo is a better choice alot faster than the tiburon but his dad said differently

Was test driving a 03 S-Type it would occasionally hard shift if i let off the accelerater and then waited till it got really slow like 5-15 mph then stepped on it it would shift hard I heard something about there's a computer upgrade for the transmission that would stop this but What is the estimate on getting this done Would like to know if i ended up buying it
