Why does he do this... when we just met?
We're high school seniors in chemistry class. We hadn't talked like at all this year, but would sometimes look at each other ever so slightly (you know when you can sort of sense the other thinks you're attractive). We got new assigned seats next to each other and we were happy to be partnered up together. He knows I have a boyfriend cuz he's seen us hold hands and stuff, but I'm going to break up with him Friday (totally unrelated to this guy). We've only been sitting next to each other like five days and we don't talk that much, only some flirting I guess, but for three days he's told me that this girl in our class texts him a lot, he's annoyed and doesn't respond but feels he has to to not seem like a jerk. Today he was like "guess who texted me this morning". We just met, why is he telling me about this annoying girl chasing after him? To seem desirable and attractive to girls? It doesn't make sense to me, I really don't care that some random girl tries to talk to him.

2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoTo delay the breakup?
I decided last Sunday I would end my relationship of a year and a half this Friday. I want to do it Friday because my boyfriend and I see each other at school a lot, and we're the kind of people that would like to let it sink in and calm ourselves before seeing each other at school the day after the breakup. However I found out my aunt is visiting from across the country this weekend, and my mom keeps asking if my boyfriend is coming to a play I had invited him to (and he agreed to see before I decided to break up) on Saturday. I really want to end it this weekend, but I would feel bad ruining my aunt's stay by breaking up the day she gets here and being sad while she's visiting. I need to decide now because my mom needs to know if my boyfriend is coming with us or not (and so does he). What should I do?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoCan I take my ex to Prom?
I've been in a relationship for a year and a half, but I have been dissatisfied with it for many months. I'm still in it because although he is annoying, he is still my best friend and cares about me so much, and I don't have many friends I would be with when I don't have him. I almost broke up with him a few months ago but decided against it. Prom is end of May and people are starting to plan for it. Also I've been cheating on him for six months with someone from another school. I don't want to go to prom single.. should I stay in my current relationship and take him but be unhappy, dump him and still go with him (he has no one else he could ask), or dump him and go with the other guy to his school's prom (who may ask someone else anyway)?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWho loves cowgirl and knows how to make it enjoyable?
I have never enjoyed cowgirl. I've tried squatting straight up, leaning forward, reverse cowgirl... each time I barely feel anything and it's just so exhausting and I'm really slow. Yes I do cardio and I do squats nightly, it still hurts! I hear cowgirl is a woman's favorite and I feel left out and a failure that I can't do it.

1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoCan I still sit with my ex in the mornings before school?
we are not very social people, and sit together in a quiet place in the school, while most kids socialize in the commons. I stood there over a year ago before we started dating, but I'm not friends with those people anymore. in fact I don't really have friends at school. I would be most comfortable still sitting with my current boyfriend, even though I will break up with him next week. We were friends before we dated and I want to maintain a friendship, but is it okay to still sit with him before school starts?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoHow to celebrate one year anniversary?
My boyfriend and I are 17 and our anniversary is coming up. We're not like couples that obsess over celebrating the months go by, but I would like to at least acknowledge out anniversary. He doesn't like going out to dinner or making cards. Any fun ideas that are special but wont scare him?
2 AnswersOther - Holidays9 years agoJuggling two guys: is it cheating?
I've been in a relationship for a year and a half. My bf and I are very happy together and I love him, but I miss the thrill of a new relationship, and this other guy has some qualities my bf doesn't, that I like. Ive had a connection with the other guy for longer than I've been with my bf, and we went on a few dates before I was with my current bf. my boyfriend is on vacation right now, and I went on the best date of my life with the new guy. We were touchy feely and flirty but we didn't actually go so far as kissing. I love my boyfriend but I'm do distracted by this guy!!
6 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoI have many diaries I want to keep when I go to college, how to I pack them without my family knowing?
I'm embarrassed by them so I don't want my family to know how much I write, and I want to take them with me to college.
5 AnswersFamily9 years agoShould my ex-friend and I make up?
My friend was going through a tough time, and I barely reached out to comfort her or anything. As a result she ignored my texts and eventually told me she didn't want to be friends anymore. Now she says she wants to talk? I've kind of moved on but I still miss her. Should we rebuild our friendship?

1 AnswerFriends9 years agoHow do you get rid of a security box?
I have a big Sentry security box, that I don't want anymore. It's heavy, so I can't just throw it in the garbage can without my parents noticing. How do I get rid of it?
2 AnswersSecurity9 years agoWhat's an alternative to going to Homecoming?
My boyfriend and I are really shy and don't have a lot of friends. Our few friends are close to us, but they're going to a different school's HC, or not at all. So we are without a group, and I don't want to go without a group. Neither of us know what to do instead. We just started dating so I'm thinking a nice dinner would be okay and pictures but like, we see movies all the time, and I need other ideas.
2 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships10 years agoWhat's a good comeback to "Denial isn't only a river in Egypt"?
My not-boyfriend's and my friends keep telling us we should go out. We like each other and are working on it (super shy, im not here for you to tell me to ask him out), and we don't know how to respond to things like that because everyone knows we have a thing, but we don't want to agree with them because we're not official yet.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating10 years agoHow do I nicely say no to a facebook "sister" request?
My ex-friend Sarah, started going goth two years ago. I moved last summer, and with me gone she had like one friend left and went all out goth. Her younger sister Emma is normal, but they still have the same last name, so people would know it's Sarahs sister, which embarrasses me. I rarely talk to either of them anymore. I'm definitely not Emmas "sister", how can I nicely say no?
5 AnswersFriends10 years agoCan I hold his hand in the theater if we're not dating?
At first we were just church friends but a couple months ago our relationship suddenly turned and now we hang out and occasionally flirt a tiny bit. We text like every day. I recently realized I'm crushing on him. The thing is though, he's really really shy (I'm suprised we're so close). Once on a hike i neutrally asked if he'd ever get a girlfriend and he said no (he's not gay he's just awkward) But i joke that he's a pimp and he thinks it funny. All our church friends tease me that we'd make a cute couple. We (and his sister- although we hang out, it's always with his sister who we're both really close to also) are seeing Pirates 4 in the theater, and I want to hold his hand.

He goes to my church and we're friends. Friends enough to have a real-life and facebook poke war going on, and he talk at church and we play wrestle sometimes. He's a super hot senior, turning eighteen, and I'm a sophomore. I want to post something more than just Happy Birthday to his wall. Any fun suggestions that aren't lame like Happy Birthday *poke*, sort of thing would be awesome
