how can I help my destructive 3 year old?
I have 3 amazing kids. My youngest is my "momma's boy". He is smart and sweet MOST of the time. About 6 months ago his father left and since then he has become destructive. I have had to hide the knives so he would stop stabbing things to open them. He colors on everything. Will tear rip or smash anything he touches. He has also gotten to th Point where he doesn't want people other then me touching him. He will lash out at his sister for touching him or just have a complete meltdown. I try and keep consistent (and it has worked flawlessly with the other 2 one of whom has Asperger's). I know he's not missing attention from me as I don't do ANYTHING without him. I'm also sure he's not happy about his father but I don't know how to help him that and deal with everything in the house being smashed at the same time.
