Your Guts (I hate 'em)

Okay, so my boyfriend, (let's call him "Kyle") and I have been going out for about 5 months. Things have been going great lately. But just 2 days ago, my second best friend ("Layla") told me that she doesn't think it's working. She says that he "doesn't seem into me" as much as at first. She has a boyfriend already ("Harry"), who she has been going out with for about 6 months now, so she isn't jealous.

What the hell do you think her problem is?! I mean, things have been going great with Kyle and me.

Please help?

Okay, so there's this guy and he's in mostly all of my classes. I think we have all the same classes except elective period.

I think he likes me, but I don't like him back.

He's really shy, but I catch him sneaking glances my way all the time, at least twice per class period.

I don't like him or anything, but I just want to know if it seems like this to anyone else?

And if it seems that way and he asks me out, how can I softly reject him? I don't want to hurt his feelings or anything.

Would someone please tell me what they think?

My friend keeps trying to hook me up with guys who I am friends with and she pretty much ruined my friendship with this guy named Eric.

I told her that I didn't want her trying to hook me up with anyone. She didn't listen. She stopped trying after last week, but now that the fair is coming to town, she wants me to double-date with her, and she is going to try again. She told me.

There's only one guy at school that I find remotely dateable, and she doesn't know about that. I don't plan on telling her, either, because I know he doesn't like me like that.

Plus, my mom works at the school where I go to currently, and I don't want her to know about it if I have a boyfriend, you know?

What should I do?

Okay, so the county fair is coming in soon, 3 weeks from now, and my friend Jazz wants me to go with her. The problem: She's going with her boyfriend, Ian.

I really want to go with her. Our plans were messed up last year because of the gang activity at the fair, and I went with my other friend, Hannah, but Jazz is going with her boyfriend. This is going to make me feel like a third wheel. I mean, I love them both, but I don't want to interrupt their romantic day at the fair...

I told her this, but she insists that I go with her.

I disagree with it. If the reason why I don't get into a good college or a good job is because some person with a different color of skin who is not as qualified as me gets it due to Affirmative Action, that is just racism.

Last time I really tried to finish what I started,

I just ended up making it worse.

I needed a miracle

But the heavens didn't need me.

The lack of miracle that did ensue

Caused, not only a shake in faith,

Friendships,

and Assets.

The two guys who sit next to me in Social Studies class are so annoying. They steal my stuff and try to get in fights with me for no reason. Sal even took my notebook while I was at my locker and wrote his name on a page of it and said "See! Its got my name on it!"

Cris stole my pen after our debate and wouldn't give it back until I was basically yelling at him.

I want to get a new haircut. I got a cut about a month and a half ago and my bangs really need to be trimmed.

(I know, it's the same actress. We just look a lot alike and so I think her hairstyles look good on me.)

I got a haircut, it's just below my chin, and I have never had it that short before. The problem is, no matter how long I try, it won't straighten. There's nothing wrong with the straightener, I only bought it 3 months ago and it worked great on my long hair. Suggestions?
