That the coronavirus is used make people afraid to touch money because they might get the virus from it. So, instead of using cash everyone is using cards and apps to buy what they want and eventually a new digital currency will be adopted. The government wins because with the digital currency, they will be able to track how every dollar is made and spent more easily and they will get a bigger cut in taxes.

That the Coronavirus is a way to get low-skilled minimum wage workers AKA "essential workers" to give up their jobs in favor of automation. If they were told out of the blue that a robot will replace them, they would riot, but if they are given a valid reason why their jobs are no longer safe, they will be more willing to give them up. Essential workers are even complaining about the lack of protection they have while going to work during this pandemic. Getting these workers to complain about their own jobs is an essential part of the plan. The government will provide these workers with a permanent stipend in order for the robots to take over their former occupations.
