My boyfriend won't man up...?
My boyfriend is from Pakistan. He is 26, a medical student, and lives with his father. His father believes he should concentrate on nothing but his studies. Therefore my boyfriend refuses to tell his father about me. We have been together for a year now, and he still refuses to tell anyone in his family about me or introduce me to them. How convenient that we live 140 miles apart from each other.
I told my boyfriend that I was sick of this, that he should grow up, and that I making the trip to his house next month to meet his family. He was furious with me, and told me that I can meet his family in four years when he is finished with school. He refuses to even let me meet his friends. He told me to stay where I am, and that he will continue to make the trip to visit me like he has been doing every month.
I'm thinking of leaving him. I feel like I'm being deceived and wasting my time. Opinions?

My family is ignorant and cruel. Anytime anything happens, I seem to be the family punching bag. I don't know why I still talk to these people. All they do is hurt me. Sometimes I wish they would all get deported back to Russia.
