  • how good do you have to be for synchronized skating?

does anyone have an idea of what test level for skills/dances/freeskate are required for skaters trying out for Junior synchronized skating teams?

Or how many years of experience Junior teams [such as Nexxice or Les Supremes] are looking for?

I'm just looking for a general idea of how good you need to be, if anyone knows :)

  • double loop jump help? =)?

like a lot of people, doing the double loop off the end of a single jump or another double jump is a lot easier than doing the double loop on its own.

i have a consistent double loop when its the 2nd jump in a combination but i can't seem to get the right timing when doing the double loop by itself and I need it for my next test..

Any tips on take offs for the double loop?

And if anyone has any, tips on getting some extra height on flip and lutz jumps would be appreciated :)

  • help, centering spins? :S?

spins used to be so easy for me and suddenly i can't even center a one foot spin?

and i can't get over my left side for just a regular camel spin anymore!

my coach thinks it might be because after i got new boots, the skate blades were not aligned properly. what are signs showing that they aren't aligned properly?
