Ive got this weird wetland in my backyard that only has water in it in the spring time. Any other time of the year its just an empty pond like 3 feet deep, this pond is about 40 feet across and 15 feet wide. Is there a way i could flood this and turn it into a rink?

I live on lake minnetonka and i love to fly fish. I cant help noticing in the mornings of mid may to mid june, carp come in schools in about 1-5 feet of water. Im going to north captiva for spring break this year and i want to fly fish. last year i fly fished and i did what everyone told me to do; white clousers size 2 etc. but i only caught ladyfish. i would like to catch seatrout and other fish that live close to shore. tactics, flies, techniques etc. PLEASE HELP!

I'm not going for anything in specific but I heard you can catch sheepshead pompano, crevalle jack, and seatrout etc, what flies should I tie? Sizes? Colors? Etc. and I'm only 13 so flies that would be easy to cast with a 7 weight
