I formed a corporation in Feb. 2007 planning to elect S corp and buy an existing business. The deal fell through so I have not elected S corp yet (plan to this month for 2008) and have filed nothing. Obviously there's been no income, no employees, etc. What do I file to keep the corp. in good standing for the future.

p.s. I did rack up about $4,000 in start-up and equipment costs I could carry forward and deduct in the future but if I change to S-corp I'll lose that carry forward anyway, right? So, there's no real advantage to documenting them, is that correct?

There seems to be some misconception out there that this refers to Joe living in his rented trailer on his $800 a month government check. It doesn't.

Middle Class means just that. In the middle. It DOES NOT include the poor and it does not include the rich.

Depending on where you live and the cost of living in your area those definitions and the range will vary to some extent.

Let me clarify...

Don't get side-tracked by who was a great President. That's a different question. For example, many would say Ronald Reagan was a great President - I would - but I wouldn't say he was a uniquely qualified candidate when he first ran. He was a retired actor and average governor. Roosevelt might jump into your mind, but he was noone before he ran.

I'm asking for your nominees for men (or women although not many have run) of REAL substance. The question comes from me being dissapointed yet again that noone of substance runs for President. Then thinking backward and realizing I couldn't come up with an obvious answer in recent history.
