2 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agomotorcycle life time warranty for as long as I own the bike.?
Hi all thanks for reading. I purchased a motorcycle 600cc and the dealer gave me a lifetime warranty for the bike with free mot`s as long as own the bike for approx. £200 a year providing it is serviced by them and asking is this really worth the money or would you consider doing the repairs you self?this is their wording as copied and pastured.Yes you have read it correctly - Wheels Motorcycles offer a lifetime guarantee on all new and used motorcycles over 500cc purchased from ourselves with less than 30,000 miles or younger than 10 years at the time of purchase for all Kawasaki, Suzuki, Aprilia, Honda and Yamaha models for as long as you keep it.
Wheels Motorcycles decided to take this step two years ago after previously charging for the guarantee and finding its benefits so attractive to the customer and for Wheels Motorcycles with its added customer retention.
There are no gimmicks or overpriced service charges. We simply ask that you maintain the vehicle at its normal service intervals (first service 600 miles then generally 4,000 to 6,000 miles or annually) with ourselves.
Included in this guarantee we also give away free MOT’s when required hopefully enabling you to have many years of stress free motorcycling.
There are no complicated or extra terms and conditions to this guarantee we simply extend what would be our normal used bike warranty conditions for the lifetime that you own the vehicle.
Also, if you are one of our low annual mileage customers, no need to worry about huge service costs we will simply complete a cheaper interim service and safety check annually to maintain your warranty
thanks again.

1 AnswerCamcorders8 years agofz6 finance problem/bike?
Hey have a read of this and tell me what you think please.i purchased my fz6 in july 12 this year second hand and has been back to the dealers twice as it had a oil leek around the generator cover in which they could not stop first time so went back again and looked like its stopped now but from the place where it was leeking it looks like its had some sort of liquid metal or araldite put in place and then srayed over with silver paint to cover up the problem?now where they have tightened the screws up around the cover the top screw just above has a 5mm crack in the engine block? wheather its been done by the screw or because the engine is under pressure i dont know. but the point is the bike was purchased on finance with my own finance company who i have been with for years not the shops own,i was wondering if i could claim my money back and finance charges due to the fact it is faulty and could it get worse?sorry but thanks....

2 AnswersMotorcycles9 years agoYamaha fz6 fazer 600 cc 04 model half faired.?
Hi, just looking for information on the above fz6 meaning i have purchased second hand in july this year but cant seem to get to that when driving/riding straight line for example the bike seems to want to give way and come out from under me.make me fall off.it happens in the dry and wet as well. i have done a few checks as the rear tyre pressure is ok and the wheel is level in the frame and running true.the tyre is excellent condition with no squared off edges or flat spots.so where does that leave me? i have even thought of changing the suspension but not sure if it is that as theirs no leeks and seems hard enough as on setting 3.besides have tried all levels of height adjustment and no difference.any advice what i can do next.cheers to all...
