I currently live in a college dorm and really want a gargoyle gecko. I have experience with crested geckos so I know basic care but have a few questions. Because i live in a dorm, I don t really have room for anything more than a 10 gallon tank, which is fine for hatchlings and juveniles, but i don t think its completely fair for adults. I ll be out of the dorms in a little over a year. I guess my question is "how long does it take for a gargoyle gecko to grow to full size, and what do you guys think I should do?"

Hi, I have 2 crested geckos (both female so no fighting) and I can't seem to keep their humidity up. I use coco fiber substrate, cover about 75% of the screen top with plastic wrap to help keep it in, and mist about 4 times a day and the humidity level still never goes higher than 60%. I will mist it and it goes up but about 30 minutes later it will be back at 45- 55%. I am really not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

I have a 35 gallon hexagon aquarium and want

2 german blue ram cichlids

2 red wag swordtails

1 lyretail molly

1 marbled molly

2 cory catfish

Maybe 2 snails

It's also going to be a planted aquarium. will this work?

Okay so i am planning on setting up a 35 gallon hexagon aquarium. i want a community tank with 1 angelfish. the only problem is finding a schooling fish to go with the angelfish. I have heard that both bloodfin tetras and penguin tetras have done well with them. which one do you think does best? if neither do well? what kind of schooling fish do you suggest?

okay so i have had a crested gecko since april. when this summer started he went into the first shed that i have seen. lately i have noticed that he doesnt seem right. he will go into one shed and the day after that he will go into another one which will last about a week or two. i mist the cage 3-4 times a day and change the crested gecko diet every night. and he hasnt grown at all since i have had him either. he also doesn't really stick at all and he doesnt hunt crickets. i dont have any calcium or anything either because the guy at the store said the crested gecko diet has it already. what should i do to fix this? whats wrong with him? please help! i am really worried!

I have a 35 gallon hexagon tank so it needs to be arboreal. Also i don't have enough money for a UVB light (35-40 dollars is a lot for a light!). Also I already have a crested gecko so not that and it doesn't need to be beginner I would Prefer intermediate. Any suggestions?

Can i use an aquarium light for a green tree frog. It isn't UVB because they are nocturnal and don't need it. but i am worried it is too bright for them. will they be okay?

So i was at petsmart buying crickets and saw a mom with her kid who was holding a fish tank that was no more than 3 gallons (if i had to guess it would be 1.5 gallons). It didn't have a filter or heater or even a bubbler with it. they also had 2 serpae tetras that they were buying. I overheard them saying that they were putting the tetras in the new tank. So i thought "they don't even have a filter or anything. they obviously haven't cycled it since they are currently buying it. and you cant keep 2 serpae tetras in a tank that small because its too small and they only have 2 and tetras are schooling fish." So what would you have done in this situation?

okay so i have a 35 gallon hexagon tank. So its taller rather than long. i want a tokay gecko but i'm not sure if its the right one for me. i have experience with cresties and leos and want something bigger. I also don't feel any need to hold it. so is it a good choice for me? also can i get 2 of them (for mating) in a 35 gallon?

I currently have a fluorescent light for an aquarium but want it to be a terrarium for a green anole. Can I use the light for UVB for it?

so today i went to my local pet store and saw these little things of live moss for hermit crabs. you just stick into the substrate and mist it once a day. can i put this in my crested gecko tank to help with humidity?

my crestie has been shedding for a couple weeks now. it seems like he is having trouble. he cant stick and i can see little loose pieces of skin on him. he seems like he is shedding very little at a time (if any). unlike others who shed within a day. It is really worrying me. What should i do!?!?

Hi, i am making a styrofoam waterfall in my green tree frog's terrarium (dont worry the water is only like 1 inch deep) and need to paint it somehow. Can i just use acrylic paint for this?

okay so i want a waterfall in the corner and need some ideas of what to make it out of. Can i use clay? im not sure. I would rather not use like Styrofoam because it can be kind of costly. any other ideas?
