  • Which is better?....?

....To be the sort of person who mistakenly believes that they are always 100% right, or someone who tries hard to be as correct as possible but accepts that sometimes they make mistakes, and works at trying to improve themselves?

  • How to spend my bonus?

I've just been told I'm getting over £900 bonus (less tax) at the end of the month. How should I spend it? I would really like to invest it in some way.

  • How do I change what I eat?

So, I have a problem with vegetables.

The thought of them disgusts me, the smell of them almost makes me throw up and the taste of them virtually guarantees throwing up.

It isn't 'all' vegetables though, I will eat potatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and in very special circumstances carrots. Everything else is a no-no.

As I am obese (17 stone (238lbs) and 5' 8") with a big belly and moobs, I desperately want to lose weight. Aside from exercise, I know that the only way to lose weight is to eat less bad food.

So, I have cut down considerably on what I eat and am trying to eat healthier but when 'healthy' food makes you physically sick, surely that isn't good for you?

    Does anyone have any ideas?

  • What should I do?.....?

A few years ago I bought a second hand Kawasaki GPZ1000RX 1985, I loved the bike as I used it to travel between Cheshire and Cardiff pretty much every day, In the three months I used it I put about 12,000 miles on it!

However, one day the engine let out a massive rattle and died, it hasn't run since then and has been sat in a friend's garage. I have taken the engine out but not had the opportunity to strip it down and find the cause of the problem.

As It has been there for about 3 years now, should I sell it for scrap or try to get it running again?

(BTW, I love playing around with cars and bikes but at my current house I don't have anywhere to work on it).

    TIA

    Steve
