I'm an ICT student in what might be my last year of study, I'm not sure if I'm going to uni. I'm currently building a website aimed at helping ICT students with their studies. For one section of the site I want to have on how different organisations use ICT. For example hospitals, museums, libraries etc.

Knowing the theory is one thing but I'd rather have the opportunity to see how it all works myself before I start writing about.

There's a business near me that includes a cinema, 2 restaurants, a bar, a bowling ally and a children's play area. It would be a great place to go as it includes many different types of businesses, i'd be able to kill a few birds with one stone, the only problem is I might have pissed off the manger.

A few months they had an offer in the bar, any cocktail for £1.50. I got stupidly drunk and managed to kicked out....twice. According to the people I was with the manager was involved with the second booting out.

If I want to do some research there I'll need to talk to the manager and I honesty can't remember anything that was said or done. This is why I tend to be nice to everybody, you never know when you might need their help.

How should go about talking to her, I'm not even sure if she'll remember me.

I came across some scans of some very old postcards with photos of my area on Ebay, I was fascinated I've only ever seen 1 or 2 old photos of the area so I started looking around the internet for more, I found over 40 really good quality scans,then I decided I wanted to go and take photos in these areas and post a 'then and now' set on my Flickr page, but I'm not sue if I'm legally allowed to publish this images along with my photos.

Does anyone know if I'm allowed to use theses images and if not where would I find out who holds the copyright to ask permission to use them?

I have some kind of search hijacker on my computer that I'm having trouble removing I've tried

Malware bytes

and spybot but haave not been able to remove it.

how do I get rid of it?

I turn 17 in November and would like to know when I can apply for my provisional licence and how much it will cost.

I am 16 I just finished my GCSE a few weeks ago, and completed 6 months of work experience at a local PC repair shop. I have been interested in computers and electronics for the past few years and have become pretty good at troubleshooting and repairing PC's and Laptops.

I would like to get some business cards cards made to try and make some money over the summer but I can't think of any names.

Also I need some ways of making some start up money for equipment ( PSU testers external hard drive and external DVD drive etc.) I have been looking for a job but so far no joy.

I have a Dell latitude 110L about 5 years old 1.3Ghz CPU 1.25GB RAM 40GB HDD

Dell don't provide drivers for win vista/7 but I've found drivers from other places that should work.

So is it worth the effort installing 7 (Currently using XP)

My friend got a text from 02 telling him that instead of paying £15 a month for unlimited calls and texts he could pay £5 a month for just unlimited texts by texting a number.

As I use texts more than calls is there anyway I could get £5 a month for unlimited texts?

I have loads of ISO's mostly boot CD's for trouble shooting computers but it means I am forced to carry a huge CD wallet around.

I would like to put all of the ones I use most often on to one CD or DVD, I'm pretty sure most of them will fit on a DVD.

NOTE: I'm currently using Alcohol 120% but I will use another application if necessary.

I'm sick of updating windows XP after every installation so is there any way I can create an Installation disk with all of the updates complete to save me some time?

I have an older computer with a pentium 4 CPU 1Ghz I want to upgrade it to a 3Ghz so I went and got the CPU but I have just noticed the old CPU has hundreds of pins but the new one has no pins will it still work?

I am 16 and need a bank account to receive EMA next year but I don't have a passport as proof of ID the only photographic ID I have is school smart card from a school I no longer attend. Will the smart card be sufficient if not what will?

How can I obtain proof of address?
