5 AnswersPolitics8 years agoAnyone know this movie? Guy trying to get back to country on ship?
I want to say the movie is called Cargo But I looked all over forit and I can't find anything. The movie is about a younger guy who Either did something illegal in Germany and is trying to escape to the US Or did something illegal in the US and is trying to escape to Germany. He pays his way onto a ship and there's something going on I can't remember what if they're drug dealers or human traffickers or just insane and he has to find his way off. I realize its not much to go on but its a thriller kind of old maybe late 90s and it might have been German made.
1 AnswerMovies8 years agoHow Should I go About Quitting my Job at a Fast Food Restaurant?
I got my first job at a fast food restaurant about three weeks ago. Long story short, it sucks. My coworker told me that the first week is bad but then it gets better But I feel like it's steadily gotten worse. I want/need to quit but I don't know how to go about doing this. I need to leave on good terms but I don't have a good excuse. I can't blame it on school I don't know what another reason is except that it's not a good fit. Everyone has been so nice I feel really bad saying that's not a good fit.
Also, I go to an ice cream place a few days ago And I see a now hiring sign. This place is a lot closer
and I have friends who work there. It basically seems like it will be 50 times better than the job I have now. I want to apply but I'm worried that This ice cream place will call my fast food job place And they'll know I want to quit.
I don't know if I'll get the job without putting them down because most places want experience.
Most people say don't quit original Job without having new job how should I go about doing this?
Also where's a good place to volunteer to get references?

6 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agoWhere do I volunteer to get references for part time employment?
Or references at all? The absolute perfect job for me just opened up and I must have it. The school year isn't on so I can't ask a teacher. Basically I have no one except for the lady I used to babysit for.
I have only had 1 job before which I have now but I can't use them for reasons it would take too long to get into.
Also I have 2 friends who work at this place. Could I put them down or do you not use friends? What about their parents even though I've never met them (sorry if that sound stupid).
Basically where do teens volunteer. I live in a fairly small town we have elderly homes, a zoo, hospital. That's pretty much It. I hear about candy stipers at hospitals but I'm not sure if that's teen okay? How do go about doing this and how long should I volunteer before asking or a reference.
All help appreciated.
1 AnswerGovernment & Non-Profit8 years agoHow should I go About Quitting this Fast Food job?
I got my first job at a fast food restaurant a little over three weeks ago. Long story short, it sucks. It's been 3 weeks and they still haven't trained me on like anything I just do the same **** work over and over again when I capable of doing a lot more. My coworker told me the first week is hard and then they train and gets easier. Basically I got over the "hard" part and I feel like its even worse. It wouldn't be so bad except they never let me make anything. I get that I'm not as fast as everyone but obviously I never will be since I never get to try or practice.
My only problem was it was REALLY hard for me to find work. I think becuznits my first job? Well I went to this ice cream place yesterday and I saw a now hiring sign. I have a couple friends who work there, its closer o my home, it is ALOT easier (at least it looks it) its self serve so basically there not much training.
But I'm worried I won't get the job but they'll call my other work and my other work will know I'm looking for a different job. I won't quit the job I have now until I find another job but I'm worried the ice cream place might call the fast food restaurant I'm working at.
Also, if I get new job, how do I quit old job. Everyone's been so nice that I feel bad and I'm worried that ill have to start new job right away. I would like to leave on good terms.
and please no "suck it up" "at least you have a job" I see better opportunity I take it.
2 AnswersFood Service8 years agoWhen the stock market crashes again and the country is financially screwed, will my money be safe and how high?
So I just read that the stock market in the us is going to crash again and that 2008 wasn't the "real crash" I can't put a link because I'm on iPad but once the country is completely screwed how high will taxes be? The article also said to secure your money. Can the government take it? I'm a minor that makes minimumn wage but I do have some $ saved up.
