Android phones work fine in Windows 7 but stopped working in XP?
I have two XP computers at home, several Windows 7 computers at work, and three Android phones (all different models). A couple of months ago Windows XP suddenly stopped working with the phones only, all other devices work fine, and the phones work fine on Windows 7. I have tried every possible combination of cable, computer, phone, driver, you name it. I haven't found precisely this situation on the web so I'm asking myself. Two of the phones are not new and were working on all these computers before this problem. The third phone is new and works just like the others. So what I'm figuring is that Microsoft or some vendor has 'updated' something that now breaks the Androids from working on XP, in fact I think XP is being made slower also to 'force' people to abandon XP, but that's a separate issue I guess.
Different computers, different phones, several cables, what else can I try?
