  • Is the Walking Dead season 5 even worth watching?

I'm halfway into season 4 and it's getting kinda boring to watch. Pretty much every episode starts with some big event, then it's like 30 minutes of filler, then some cliffhanger and the episode ends. Even the walkers are getting boring. Like they would grab someone, and just look at them and scream, when they have like a ton of time to actually bite the dude. I can't even stop facepalming at it. Does season 5 get any better than this?

  • How can I cancel a windows update from restarting my computer?

I recently downgraded from windows 8.1 back to windows 8 because it made my wifi just not work like half the time and ever since it's been installing new updates and stuff which was ok by me even if quite annoying. But right now I just saw that the update its trying to install is to update to windows 8.1...

I just disabled automatic updates from the control panel but it already downloaded this update and its trying to install it and the max possible delay time I had was 4 hours there wasn't a "cancel update" button there or anything close to it can anyone help me stop windows from updating back to 8.1???

  • Will I still get admitted if I submitted my SAT scores too late?

I took the SAT test more than a year ago, and posted the correct results when I sent my applications in (in November), however I didn't go on the actual collegeboard website and pressed the "send my score" thing until literally right now, because I thought it would automatically sync it if I put my collegeboard info in the application like it asked me to. Apparently not, because as I checked my application status today it said it's missing any official test scores. The University of California system that I applied to will be sending application answers in like a month. I know that it's too late to take another SAT test, but if I already took the test but forgot to send my scores until now, will that completely ruin my application??? This seems a bit too much of a punishment.......

  • Windows crashes when I alt+tab out of a game?

This happens like 30% of the time I alt+tab out of any full screen videogame and it's really frustrating because the only fix I found for this is to completely restart my computer which I'm sure isn't healthy for it. Basically what happens is I'll be playing a game of some sort then alt+tab back to desktop for whatever reason and everything would just freeze, with the screen showing the videogame screen open, with a not responding sign at the top of it. Did anyone else get something like this? If so is there any oother way to fix this?

  • How long until USPS tracking system updates?

I just sold my first item on eBay and I printed out the shipping label on Monday (3 days ago) and put it in my mailbox. When I came back from work the package wasn't in the mailbox, so I assume the USPS guys picked it up. The thing is, on the USPS website it still says pre shipment, and the buyer is getting frustrated, since I don't have reputation on eBay and it's taking a long time. How long does it usually take for the item to show up in tracking?

  • Skeptical about eBay's return policy?

So I'm about to ship my first item on eBay, and I allowed hassle-free returns. I saw that the buyer has to return the item in exactly the same condition that he got it in, if they want to return it. The thing is, how can anybody know if they just take it and rip it and say it was already like that? I have photos of the item I listed but is that enough evidence? I just want to make sure I'm covered before I ship it

  • Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour LAN network problem?

I've been trying to set up a generals game the past couple hours on the local LAN network, but my laptop won't connect or something with the other computer. In the game lobby (multiplayer > network) we see each other's name in the player list, and when I make a game he can join just fine, but when I press play game and the next loading screen starts (the one with the general's name/picture at the top and the description of the units) it doesn't work.

On my screen, my loading bar fills all the way, but his doesn't even start. On his screen, the two bars fill completely and the game starts, but it immediately freezes and has that timeout screen where you can vote to kick players or quit the game. Meanwhile my screen is still stuck. Can anyone please help??

BTW I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 with windows 8 installed

  • Would I still get credit for passing an AP test if I failed the class?

So if I get a 4 on the AP test but get like a D in the actual class, would colleges still recognize the 4 and let me skip the class in college?

  • How would I go about making a board game about World War I?

I have a project in AP US history which is to make some kind of board game about the US involvement in World War I. From what I know, the United States didn't do much at all, but we still have to make a board game about it. I don't really have any clue how to begin making it, but I was thinking maybe something like the game of Life style sort of thing with certain spaces resembling random events (like getting gas attacked in the trenches or something) but I'm not even sure how to make something like that. Can someone help me come up with ideas for such a board game?

  • What is the best software to make a digital poster?

My teacher said that we have to make a poster as a book report. We have to include graphics, and bullets in text boxes that should be scattered around the poster. I doubt that Microsoft Word would be the best option. Does anyone know any other program that fits?

  • What phone should I upgrade to?

I currently have the HTC One S. I've had it for a few years now so I'm pretty sure that there are better phones out there. What are some of the best phones on the market right now?

By the way, I'd never touch anything Apple related.

  • What are some symbols that represent Henry Knox?

I have an assignment for AP US History where I have to make a political cartoon about Henry Knox. I was thinking about drawing a picture of him in the middle and having an artillery cannon behind him (since he was the chief artillery officer of the continental army) and drawing bars of gold inside a prison-like structure to represent Fort Knox. However I need a LOT more ideas I need at least 5 and I only have 2 can someone please help?

  • Do english teachers over-analyze details in books?

I feel like my English teacher just makes up meaning in things that the author didn't even think about. Like if the curtains are blue, my teacher would say that it symbolizes the mood of the scene and foreshadows the death of someone and stuff like that, but maybe the author just wanted it to be blue for no particular reason?

Idk I might be wrong, but I don't think there's any way N author could have planned all of that symbolizing and irony stuff

  • What has the U.S. government done in response to the shortage of Mo-99?

There is a shortage of Molybdenum-99, used to produce Technetium-99, which is used in radio pharmacy. Mo-99 is mostly produced in nuclear reactors as a by product of the nuclear decay of Uranium 235, so the government has always been hesitant about approving production of more reactors.

But has the government actually done anything other than deny construction of these reactors?

  • What is the best 1.7.2 minecraft hacked client?

My all time favorite hacked client is Obsidian, but the developer stopped updating it after 1.6.2. I personally hate Nodus because it tries too hard to put everything into one client, but it prefers quantity over quality, and that's almost never a good thing.

    Any suggestions on other clients?
