Since some folks are convinced that Kurt Cobain was murdered , it made me think about television appearences by The Doors and The Rolling Stones. The Doors were told to not use the word ''higher'' in Light My Fire on The Ed Sullivan Show which Morrison did any way .The Rolling Stones obeyed the request to change Let's Spend The Night Together to ''let's spend some time together'' when they appeared on Ed Sullivan . Jim Morrison is dead and Mick Jagger is still alive. You don't have to be frikin' Columbo to see something fishy is going on here.

Now the Veronicas are covering We're Not Gonna Take It on a commercial that advertises ''shorter ,lighter periods''. I could handle the fact that Dee spent the 80's looking like Christina Aguilara on steroids , but has homeboy finally lost his frickin' mind ?

It occured to me today that I have seen an ever increasing amount of very influential rock stars that are no longer with us. Kurt Cobain , Joey Ramone ,Johnny Ramone , DeeDee Ramone, Eric Carr , Lonesome Dave and Rod Price from Foghat , Bo Diddley , Danny Joe Brown from Molly Hatchet , Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot , Steve Clarke from Def Leppard.........Have you guys seen many or am I just old as crap ?

Do you guys think if Extreme had not done that cheesy song and video , More Than Words , there would have been a better chance of Gary Cherone being accepted as a member of Van Halen? I'm just curious because it seemed that Exterme had done some pretty descent work up to that point.
