5 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoshould my cervix be this far forward?
i was on the phone to nhs direct and explained to them what i could feel and they suggested i visit my gp but i cant get an appointment til next week. I can feel what i believe to be my cervix at the entrance of my vagina it is really reachable and if i looked and i wouldn't i think i would be able to see it in a mirror. I gave birth 12 days ago but surely it shouldn't be here. Should i mention this to my midwife. Sorry for the tmi.

12 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agodont read if easily grossed out?
okay i'm sorry before hand for the t m i but i really want an opinion. Here goes - i gave birth 11 days ago no complications or any thing and my baby is perfectly healthy. I am aware that you bleed for some time after giving birth as it was my third pregnancy but i stopped bleeding 2 days ago and this morning i started to bleed again really heavily and it soaked through my clothes in a matter of seconds. About and hour ago it has done the same thing and it contains lots of mucous but no clots. I am getting some very intense pains evey now and again and i just though id check myself and felt what i believe to be my cervix ver far forward like within reach staright away. Is this normal. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agofailed my driving test?
okay so i failed my driving test for the third time and i feel awful and even more so that i very stupidly have told people that i passes. I dont know why maybe because i feel like such a failure and it didn't help with my dad saying he had a bet on that i would fail. Any way people are phoning to congratulate me and i feel like a right cow and of course i am but what can i do. I have every intention to tell peole the truth but how do i go about it. I expect some nasty and sarcastic comments but just so you know i feel bad enough already

8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoany suggestions please?
saw my midwife tuesday baby's head is 4 fifths engaged so not that much but this is my third pregnancy and i'm aware that with additional pregnancies it can be when labour starts when the head engages. I was dissapointed to hear it was only 4/5 because i'm having los of pressure down below and it hurts to sit down, get up and especially when walking causes me agony. I'm getting a few twinges but lots of scratch feelings in my front area. I have been diagnosed with spd but the pains i'm getting are different to that so any suggestions on what else it could be. I'm 37 weeks by the way. x

16 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agohad a show 3 weeks ago and another yesterday?
but still no sign of baby. He is super active and i'm having the odd twinge every now and then increased braxton hicks and pain on my right side but not contractions well i dont think they are. Roughly how long will it be before i get to meet my little man. With my first labour i didn't have contractions just a sharp pain every once in a while until after i was 8cm dilated then i could feel the contarctions and with my second i got induced so the pain was all at once so i'm not sure what to expect or if what i am having now is labour any body know?
3 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agois it possible to have your bloody show not not be dilating?
had lots of mucousy discharge with bright red blood earlier today and its gradually went pink but stopped altogether now. Been to the hospital and baby is okay etc. I'm not dilating so does this mean it wasn't my show or is it possible it could have been? cheers.
5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agothis cant be good?
i have just been to see my midwife and just before i left home i had some bleeding and it was bright red. I told my midwife about this and she checked my sanitary towel but no blood and i didn't expect their to be any as i had only just (sorry tmi) wiped down below. Anyhow blood pressure fine baby 4/5 engaged, urine negative, baby active, but on checking the baby's heart it was 160 with accelerations and she said it was due to his movements. I have to go to the hospital now for some anti d as i'm o neg and i'm still bleeding just checked so what do i do? do i take the sanitary towel with me? will they just give me the anti d or will they do an internal to check for dilation and will they check the babys heart rate again. This is my third baby and its never been like this before.
