  • iPod touch 4th gen connectivity question!?

Hey guys/girls, just purchased a iPod touch 4th generation online (Used) and I was able to reset everything under my own Apple ID and internet wifi source. It didn't come with a cord or charger so I'm using mine from my iPod nano. I plug it into my computer with iTunes and my computer keeps recognizing it and then unrecognizing it and it keeps beeping like crazy and iTunes won't acknowledge it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think I should buy a new cord USB cable?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

  • My printer keeps printing random characters, please help?

Hey guys and girls, my HP photosmart 6510 wireless printer keeps printing garbage. The printer job, no matter what tells me it wants to print pages 1 - 65,535 pages. This is ridiculous. I've tried unplugging and cancelling on the touch screen. I've tried restarting my Dell computer. I've tried printing something else. I replaced the ink cartridges. I've tried going into options and cancelling the printer job but there is no job to cancel. I've also tried command prompting to cancel the print job and still nothing. My Dell desktop is brand new. The file I tried printing came from my LG phone in an e-mail. I just don't know what to do!!!

    Please help.

  • Transferring backed up data from one hard drive to a new computer?

I bought a portable hard drive and backed up my data from my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Earlier today I turned on my laptop, only to find the screen not working. I haven't had it looked at yet but I'm fed up with laptops all together and I just want to get a Desktop and be done with it all. What my question here today is is can I transfer my backed up data from my WD hard drive to the new computer? (Both running windows 7) Will everything be replicated as it was on my laptop? I have plenty of expensive photoshop programs that I absolutely cannot lose!! Please help, all serious answers will be much appreciated.

  • Portable hard drive and backing up data?

I got myself a 1TB portable hard drive and "backed up my data." Forgive me for my ignorance, but when I go into the hard drive on my laptop, I cannot access much of anything. No photos, videos, programs, music, nothing... is it there and I just can't access it? It took up over 400GB of space but I can't access anything. Is it supposed to be like that? Thanks

  • Laptop to LG TV cable?

Hey, I need to know the right chord that connects my Toshiba Satellite L675D to my flat screen. My flat screen is HDMI ready. I just need to know what kind/type of cable to purchase. I have no idea what to look for. There are no holes for prongs on my laptop for the SVGA?? I'm so confused! Thanks

  • Unlimited data plan consumers I need your advice!?

I'm going to get an ipad 2 so I can use it at work. Mainly for the internet and what not to pass some down time. I'd say total data usage would end up around 5-6 hrs for 5 days a week on average. How much data will I need to continuously surf the web for that long each week? Would 10GB be enough or would I need more? What's the cheapest plan and which Ipad2 do I actually get? I'm new to this stuff, never owned an ipad or a smartphone so I'm totally lost. Thank you to anyone who can help. Also, 16GB ipad2 sounds like enough space... I won't be using apps.

  • Updated sound driver for windows 7 made it worse?

I updated the computers sound driver and it made it suck really bad. To be able to hear anything decently, I have to blast the volume to 100% on everything including the player and windows. It's ridiculous, how do I fix it? I tried erasing the updated driver but it still sounds bad. The stock volume was fine, but the program driver finder wanted to update it. Any suggestions? I have a Toshiba Satellite L675D. thanks

  • Windows 7 will not allow me to change my wallpaper background?

Here's some basic info. Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L675D S7052, I just had a problem with the CCC/ATI driver and I solved the problem by updating the driver. My ONLY problem left, (which may not be associated with the driver) is that I cannot change my wallpaper. I try it through customization and I also try it by right clicking a photo in my picture folder and nothing happens. No error code, no notification, just... nothing at all happens. I have tried 6 methods to fixing this solution and nothing has changed the problem. Please, I need help!

  • I can blow air out of my ear after exercise?

So, a few years back I noticed that after a hard run, whenever I'm winded that is, my left ear starts to plug. It feels/sounds like when you plug both of your ears and you can hear yourself breathing inside your head, except I'm not plugging either of them and it's only the left side. And it's only when I breath in, not out. It doesn't hurt, but it's annoying and I can blow small amts of air out of it as well. After I'm not winded anymore, it goes away completely. All back to normal. Has anyone ever experienced this? Or do any doctors know what this could be caused by? I'm just curious after all these years, obviously it has no immediate or harmful outcomes. But I would like to know the answer.

  • How to sand down hard plastic with DA sander and what grit?

Okay, so I have a small project. It requires sanding down some interior rings from my vehicles dash. It's hard plastic but nothing a tough grit can't sand down. My only tool is a DA buffer/sander. Question being: What grit sand paper would do the job? I'm not looking for a nice finish, because the rings will be covered by Angel Eye LEDs. I need to know the safest and easiest way to do this with the tools I currently have to work with.

  • What can I use for swirl marks in my clear coat?

I have a dual action buffer. I need to know, in your own opinions, what the best compounds are that won't tarnish my clear coat too much and the best polishes out there. I have the spider webs, scratches are to a minimum and nothing I'm worried about. The paint is a bit faded, it's a Dark Metallic Green if you needed to know? Thanks

  • Feels like my brakes are always slightly applied? Help!?

I just replaced all 4 rotors and 8 pads on my 02 Grand Am GT. Everything went fine, but now while driving I feel a slight resistance. It feels like my Ebrake is clicked a couple times and when I'm on the gas, I feel like it's holding me back. This is more noticeable on the highway, it takes more power to get up to speed and stay there so I am 100% sure there is something wrong. There is no pull to a specific side, the alignment is perfect. New tires, new wheel bearings. No noises, or scraping sounds or vibrations. So I'm stumped. Besides maybe something is too tight (which doesn't make sense) or something is not lubricated enough. Everything is visually sound so I haven't the slightest clue why I'm being restricted. Any insight will be helpful and much appreciated. I did not bleed the brakes, but I did uncap the brake fluid reservoir when I did the job.

  • Pulsating/humming noise - drivers side. 02 grand am?

I have a humming sound with a consistent pulsating. Starts from 30mph all the way to 65 and up. When I slow down, it grows much louder until I come to a complete stop. Applying the brakes does not change or make anything worse so I'm ruling that out. Load or weight distribution of any kind (swaying left, right and dips in the express way and city) have no affect on the sound either so I'm ruling out the wheel bearing/hub. Not to mention both front hubs have been replaced within the last 3 months. All 4 of my tires are under a month old, but again, load doesn't affect the pulsating/humming noise so it's ruled out. I have just gotten the vehicle balanced and aligned as well. All 4 weights on the inside of the wheels are present. Please, anyone with any insight of what it may be, please fill me in. My only guess is something to do with my transmission. (Differential) Other than that, I'm at a loss.

  • Pulsing/humming front end noise 30-70^ MPH?

Okay, been searching and I can't find much based on my specific symptoms. 02 Grand Am, 3.4L FWD, automatic. Brand new tires, brand new wheel bearings. I am getting this wuu wuu wuu humming/pulsating noise from my front drivers side area, when exceeding 30 mph and up. The Load of any type will not affect the noise or change it's pace or volume. When at highway speeds, the noise is consistent no matter what I'm doing (turning, merging) and when I brake, it gets considerably louder like a single engine plane taking a dive at an airshow. There is no play in the tire when I shake it vertically so I'm ruling out the bearing. I'm also ruling out the rotors because the symptoms are present whether or not I'm on the brakes. Any ideas? I just had my transmission fluid exchanged not too long ago as well. I hope it has nothing to do with the differential. Thanks guys
