I found a stray budgie. He is bright bright green all over. No black, no white. He is all green with some grey.

I have a bird with a broken foot. I cant afford much right now. I found this budgie outside and took him in two days ago. He probably belonged to someone. He was very hungry and thirsty. I'm trying my best to keep him well fed and well hydrated but he wont use one foot.

I was wondering if I take him in to the ASPCA are there services cheaper than a regular veterinarian?

The vet I take my budgies to cost 65$ per visit, per pet.

So, I have budgies at home. I have had budgies well over 10 years. Today I found a stray budgie, looks like it belonged to someone. I put him into the cage alone for a while, he ate and drank plenty of water, and then kept eating. He wouldn't stop eating so I took the food away and will put it back in a few hours.

He's sleeping right now, doesn't seem to have any tics or bugs and he fly's very well.

He isn't using one of his feet and isn't putting any weight on it. However, he did stretch his wing and extended the leg with it.

I'm not sure if it is broken or what I should do.

He also has black dirt or tar on the bottom of his feet and on his tale. I don't want to give him a bath because I don't want to stress him out. I'm not sure what to do.

I won't be able to pay for a vet until Probably Friday or Saturday. Today is Tuesday.

I need advice.

PS: he isn't even putting the foot into his feathers, he just has it out but not touching the stick.

I'm totally lost on what to do until Friday. And I only have one cage. I have no way of separating him unless I just leave him out the cage, which he is right now. He is on the window sill sleeping.

Who knows how long he was outside! Poor thing. Good thing I found him. He was starving!

I was wondering if they the coca cola cans have the buy one get one free six flages admission if you bring the can in. Its not the summer yet but the park will be open for spring break so i was wondering if the cans have that coupon on them.

I got a summons today. Its for May 18th. A wednesday. I never registered to vote, i don't pay taxes. I'm a full time student. I don't want to go to jury duty. I can't anyway. I have school. And I won't be here in the summer too.

Then school starts in August. I there a way I can just NOT do jury duty until I finish school in a few years. Or is there a way of postponing it a really long time?

He has weird thoughts about the universe and questions his existence here.

He has low energy and suicidal thoughts. He also says he has "lost touch with reality". It has been about a month since he started taking this medication

. He started on 25mg and now is on 100mg. Two days ago he told his doctor he didn't feel much improvement. So his doctor added 5mg of Abilify for him to take in the morning. He still feels no improvement.

Okay so my questions are, Has any of you taken these medications before? Do they work? How long does it take?

He wants to be on the seroquel and Cymbalta instead of the abilify and seroquel combination

Do you think this would work faster and maybe even better?

I just can't take him being like this anymore and i want him to be okay and happy.

He thinks his problem is norepinephrine and that's the reason he wants to switch to the cymbalta.

Any opinions or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

Ok so, my friend has suicidal thoughts and he has lost touch with reality. The doctors prescribed him Seroquel. He is not on 100mg. He has been on it for about 3 weeks now... almost a month. And he still feels horrible. So should we change his prescription? Should we add another AD like Zoloft?

Have any of you been on Seroquel? Just need some input on this because we dont know what to do and hes sick of feeling this way. Hes only 19 if that makes a difference

My budgie has an eye infection. I took her to the vet today and they gave me AK POLY BAC. They said that if her eye doesn't get better in 7 to 10 days to bring her back to check her stool for parasites. What are the chances of this not being the problem? And if it were a parasite what would they give me for that? And how much do you think it would cost? The stool exam is 50$.

If it IS an eye infection how will the cream they gave me work? And how am i supposed to get it in her eye if it is closed?

So today I woke up and something is wrong with my budgie's eye.

Im not sure if she got into a fight or something. It lost its feathers around the eye (which im sure will grow back) but her eye is very watery and she cant seem to close it fully. The other eye is fine and she is still acting like her normal self. My question is...should i be worried? What can i do to help and is it completely necessary i take her to the vet?
