My computer was infected with a virus: Internet Security 2010. I tried removing it manually by deleting the following:

I followed the instructions from these two sites:

I think I was able to remove most of the pieces of the virus but when I went to reboot my PC, it logged me on for a second and then immediately logged back off before anything on the screen could show up. I'm thinking I may have deleted something accidentally in the process of clearing my PC of the virus. I don't have the WINDOWS XP disk, or otherwise I would reload WINDOWS XP entirely. I've been trying to fix it through Windows Recovery Console but to no avail. Anyone know what might be the problem and how to fix it?

Anyone know whether Georgetown University requires admission interviews for its undergraduate applicants? I looked on collegeboard and it said that they were required but looking on the school's website, I found nothing about it except for graduate students.

If I wanted to make a chart, what's the best basic computer program to use?

So, I'm pretty much freaking out about admission interviews for colleges. Anyone want to tell me how thiers went? What did they ask? What did they tell you?

Are there any good sites that have accurate lists of the rankings of undergraduate political science programs? I found a few on graduate programs, but how would these correlate to their undergraduate counter-parts? And, just more specifically, anyone know how the poli- sci program at the University of Virginia is?

I'm not sure which one I prefer. Which one would you choose to attend; the University of Virginia, or the College of William and Mary?

When I type in searches that I've looked up before, the results show the same sites, but the links bring me to these advertising sites and directories. Anyone know how to fix this?

For some reason, every time I type in a search, it shows the sites that I'm looking for, but it has the wrong links where the correct website should be. I've made these searches before so I know what should be there. BTW, the sites that are showing up are advertising sites and directories. Anyone else have this problem, and more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? Oh and it's not just one browser; it's all of them.
