5 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI'm a cop & wanna know: Does it bother you to see an ambulance turn on its lights and sirens to get?
through a red light and then turn them off once they have passed through? I saw this happen and then I watched it wait patiently at the next red light! As a cop, I want to know what you think.
19 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoIf u owned a fast food joint, what do U think would be UR most important security step 2 prevent robberies?
I'm really looking for things a person can DO to PREVENT the robbery from even happening. Example: Sign that says "Register only holds $50 and under" Those type of things. Thanks!
8 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoWhat cases show how evidence obtained by a citizen(NON-COP) is admissable in court?
Can you find a case where evidence obtained by a security guard, bounty hunter etc. was used to convict?
I need 2 cases that show how the exclusionary rule (evidence obtained by a person who is not law enforcement is admissible in court even if it's an illegal search since it wasn't done by a cop) was used to convict a person of a crime.
I'm studying the case of Burdeau v. McDowell and how the U.S. Supreme Court ruled any incriminating evidence that is obtained during an illegal search by any non-law enforcement private party, security officer, bounty hunter and the like, is admissible in criminal and civil court.

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoNeed help with BAD XANAX WITHDRAWAL?
I've been taking 10mgs of Xanax (5 bars) a day for a least the year. I had to quite cold turkey starting yesterday. I have no money to go to the Dr. and they won't call anything in. If I go to the ER I couldn't even afford the script if they gave me one. I didn't have an anxiety issue when I started, it was just recreational, now the anxiety is from the withdrawal.
I have the WORST heeby-jeebies and my skin is CRAWLING. I can't rest, I'm sweating, I have NEVER felt this bad in my life. It's so bad I can't even think of words to describe it.
Any suggestions on getting over the physical part?
