I play a ton of metal music like August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, etc, and it seems that I quickly develop shoulder pain when playing songs by them. They obviously play very fast so that could be part of it, but what do I have to do to stop getting sore? I've noticed that it gets sorer a lot faster when I palm mute. I play sitting down and usually without a strap.. can anyone help? This is really preventing me from playing faster and it's really frustrating.

Dallas Green uses this in a song and I have zero idea how to tune to it other than tuning my normal E to a B lmao

When I try to play really fast stuff like August Burns Red, my picking shoulder gets sore really fast. I've also noticed that it gets sorer faster if there is a lot of palm muting in the song. Any help? It's stopping my progression as I want to keep improving but this stands in the way.

I'm 15 years old and I really like this girl in my spanish class. She's super shy and it's absolutely adorable. Problem is, I have never hung out with any girls at my house before. I just find that it would be very awkward to try and ask them about it. The hormones are going crazy dudes. Any advice? I know most of you are gonna say to worry about school but this girl is a year younger than me, therefore I won't be seeing her much around school to even talk to her..

It's midnight right now and I'm just going back to school tomorrow since spring break ended, but I feel really weak and shaky. I'm a little bit light headed too. I went down stairs to get something to eat thinking that might help, but there's nothing to eat since my family and I just got back from vacation. I don't know how to cook anything. I'm only 15.

I got some water but other than that I have nothing to eat. I had a headache all day and tried going to sleep two hours ago but I've had no luck. Any help? My hands are shaking when I'm typing this..

I'm in a hotel in Florida and I wanna watch the Rangers vs. Flyers series in the playoffs. Problem is, the hotel that I'm in seems to only have NBC, and not CNBC or NBCS. Can I watch the game on NBC? I have no idea what cable they have as it's a hotel.

I have Avalanche vs Bruins in the final, with the Avs winning it.

I'm going on vacation this week for spring break, and the Rangers are playing their first two games on Thursday and Saturday against Philly. I figured it would be no big deal because NBC would air them, but John Giannone (between the benches guy haha) said that NBC can only air two first round games. If NBC does those two games that will be played when I'm in Florida, then how can I watch these games? I would prefer to not stream it online due to crappy quality and the fact that I'll be in a hotel.. which means the stream will be really slow.

Any help? I'm really excited for vacation but without hockey, it ain't gonna be as good! Haha.

I can't get vocal lessons, first off. Not in the budget. But anyway, do you have any tips other than use your diaphragm? Whenever I try to belt, my voice cracks like crazy. I can't hit any of the notes especially the high ones.

Chester Bennington of LP is someone I really admire and I kinda wish I could belt like him, but when I try and fail badly, I get almost depressed. Singing is something I wanna do professionally and without professional help, it'll be hard. But, do you have any tips other than use the diaphragm and warm up?

I have been wondering this for a while. Do guitarists, drummers, and vocalists record their parts in clips or do they just play the whole song? I can't seem to edit my clips together smoothly, so I'm thinking about just trying to play one take.. any tips or clarification?

I had BF4 a while ago and stopped playing it due to boredom, but now I wanna pick it back up and play again. Can I start fresh on multiplayer at level one? I'm also a premium member as I bought premium on release, so can I restart but keep premium?

Seriously.. I found this band called After Tonight that just released their first album (I believe), and their instrumentals kickass, but it seems like the vocalist always ruins it. Anyone got some bands? I really love The Wonder Years and The Story So Far.

I'm looking to get a tube amp for mostly metal playing, for under $600. I am definitely looking to get one used as I don't see why I wouldn't considering that I'm on a low budget. Might as well sacrifice some sleekness for money. Any good names come to mind?

I am 15 years old and became interested in hockey around 3 years ago, so I'm a late bloomer I guess. Ever since I picked up hockey and started watching it, I've become addicted to it. I bought a shooting pad and a net with targets for my backyard. But the problem is this, I cannot roller blade or ice skate.. I have never had the chance to learn. My shot isn't great and I've never played in an actual game, so I don't even know if I could play defense. Making the NHL is something that I really want to do, but the odds are like 1/10,000. For me personally, it's either you make the NHL or you suck (lol). I'm very competitive and just want to know if it is still possible to make the NHL even at a late age.

Would I even have a shot at making the school team next year and getting scouted? I know I can't just jump into the NHL, but I feel like by the time I become decent, it'll be too late and there will be no way to get noticed.

Chris Letchford, one of my favorite guitarists, uses this 7 string and I would like to know what brand and model it is.. that is of course, if it is not a custom. Anybody know what brand this is? I've never seen that logo before.
