  • Anyone else 15 weeks pregnant?

I will be 15 weeks on Tuesday with baby no 2 and I just wandered how other people were feeling? My morning sickness started at about 8 weeks, it has eased off now but I keep waking up at like 3-4 in the morning and have to rush to the loo, I am not actually sick just dry heaving then I have to eat something before I go back to sleep. I am eating my meal 7-8 at night otherwise I am awake even earlier. I have been feeling quite tired but think that's down to waking up at night and having a 2 year old to look after. We have had our 12 week scan and saw baby moving lots although I haven't felt any noticeable flutters yet. I seem to get quite hungry quite quickly so seem to be constantly eating at the moment. I have a tiny bump which you can see through some tops, depends what type of top I am wearing :) How is everyone else at this stage feeling, do you have bump, what snack/meals are you eating etc etc??

  • Pregnancy symptoms.....boy or girl?

Hi I am 8 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby, with my 1st pregnancy I had morning sickness/dry heaving but then that was it for the day until the next morning. With this pregnancy I am dry heaving sometimes in the morning and throught the day and generally feeling just sick throughout the day, I am also more tired and eating more often. What symptoms did you have and did you have a boy or girl?

  • Anyone else feel like this?

I am 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow with baby no.2 and as of yet I haven't had any morning sickness (I had morning sickness at this stage with my 1st) I only had a small breakfast this morning and all morning at work I have been feeling really sick, I have made a few visits to the bathroom but no sickness or heaving. I thought maybe I feel really sick because I only had a small breakfast so I decided to have my lunch. I couldn't even eat 1 roll because I just started feeling full up and like i was going to be sick if I took another mouthful. I obviously want to try and eat as much lunch as I can for mine and the babies sake but I just can't stomach it. Has anyone else felt like this??

  • What could this have been?

Sorry if this is too much information but I will be 7 weeks pregnant on Friday and I went to the loo this morning and when I wiped and looked at the tissue their was this light/creamish colour piece of thickish looking tissue, didn't look like a baby but then it prob wouldn't at only 7 weeks but any ideas what it could have been? could it have been the sac? I would say it was about 1.5cm long, didn't have any blood or anything on it and I am not bleeding and have no stomach cramping/pains, I have tried to contact my midwife but she is off duty and I don't have any other numbers. Do you think I should be worried about this or should I get myself checked out just to be on the safe side?? I live in the UK

  • Has anyone been pregnant but got negitive pregnancy test?

Me and my husband are trying to conceive baby number 2, my usual cycles are around every 28days last month my cycle was 30 days, we used the clear blue ovulation kit and I got a smiley face on Tues 19th & Wed 20th June so about 2 weeks ago today. I worked out when this months period should be by using a 30 day cycle which is how long my cycle was last month. I am now on day 33 with no period, I took a test on Monday mid morning but it said negative but every day that is passing and I am not getting my period I am thinking am I pregnant but perhaps my levels just wasn't high enough for the test to pick up yet? I am going to wait until the weekend and if I still don't have a period I will take another test but I just wandered if anyone else experienced this and what the outcome was? This was our 1st month of trying to conceive baby number 2 we conceived our 1st baby on the 2nd month of trying.

  • Is it possible to ovulate 1 day after finishing your period?

Hi me and my husband are trying to conceive baby no 2, My last period started on Saturday the 2nd of June and Ended on Thursday 7th June, I started using the clear blue ovulation digital kit on the Thursday as it advises you to start using it on day 6 of your cycle. On the Friday, 1 day after finishing my period I got a smiley face when I tested at around 2pm, I tested again that evening just to check and it didn't have a smiley face, I have been testing every day since and according to online ovulation calendars I was due to ovulate at the end of last week but I am still getting no smiley face when I test, my periods are normally every 28-30 days so thought I would have seen a smiley face by now, I am wandering perhaps when I got the smiley face 1 day after I finished my period that that was when I ovulated? Is it possible to ovulate that soon after finishing your period?? I am not due my next period until end of next week so perhaps I will ovulate this week but then why would I have got a smiley face the day after my period? We are having sex every other day anyway but I am just wandering if I have already ovulated?

  • Potty Training 22 month old?

We are thinking about starting to potty train our 22 month old daughter but don't really know where to start or if she is ready? She knows what a poo poo and wee wee is and she knows what her potty is, sometimes when we say have you done a poo she will go to get her potty but when we try to sit her on it she locks her legs and won't sit down but she will put a dirty nappy in the potty so I think she knows what it is meant for but what are the first things we should be doing to start getting her potty trained? We are going to Spain 3weeks on saturday for 1 week so would be great to get her potty trained because then we wouldn't have to think about taking/buying nappies out there or do you think its best to start potty training when we get back??

  • Any ideas what this could be?

On Saturday I woke up with a painful throat when I swallowed, he wasn't like a usual sore throat, it was painful down each side of my throat, as the day went on the pain stayed in my throat area but it also started hurting up into my ears. On Sunday I woke with the same thing but was aching all over and kept going hot and cold, I just kept taking Beechems warm drinks that seemed to help, my throat now doesn't hurt anymore but I keep going hot and cold and the back of my neck and head area is very achy and feels stiff to turn also sometimes i get up from bending down to get something I get pains shoot through my head. I thought at first I was getting a cold but I don't have a runny nose or cough. The aching in my neck and head area seems to get worse as the day goes on, any ideas what this could be? I will be making a doctors appointment but I couldn't get an appointment this morning so thought I would ask on here in the meantime. Thanks

  • What is your 21 month old doing?

Our daughter turned 21 months yesterday and I just wandered what other 21 month olds were doing? what words or sentences can they say, are they good or bad eaters, tantrums, potty trained etc etc? Our daughter says mummy, daddy, nanny, car, keys, ball, bye bye, bath, door, shoe, there it is, woof woof and a few others. She loves giving cuddles and kisses and loves in the night garden. She eats quite well prefers fruit to veg but will try most things, she isn't potty trained yet. She does not stop all day apart from when she has her nap or if we put in the night garden on otherwise she is constantly on the move playing with her toys and helping us to do thing. She goes to nursery 2 mornings a week, we did this just to get her used to being with other kiddies/people and without us. Also interested if you mummy's or daddy's have thought about when you might have your next baby if you want anymore, our daughter is our first and we would like an other, recently I have started feeling broody again and think 2-3yrs is a nice age gap and just wandered what other parents thought??

  • 17 month old and not much appetite.?

Our daughter is 17 months old and the past few weeks doesnt seem to be eating as much as she used too. She will eat her breakfast and some of her lunch but at tea time she has a few mouthfuls of food and then just isnt interested, she has 1 snack mid afternoon but nothing to filling. We are not sure if this is just a stage she is going through or her getting picky with food or if something is wrong. Her food routine goes like this 8-8.30 breakfast 12ish she has her lunch and then 5-5.30 she has her tea. She only has a beaker of milk before bed, but throughtout the day will have water or juice. Has anyhone else had this problem with their little one??

  • What is your 14month old eating?

Hi, I have a 14month old and she eats really well but I just wandered what kind of meals you was giving your little one. She has cereal for breakfast followed by some fruit most mornings but sometimes has different things like toast/scrambled eggs etc. For lunch she will have a sandwich, fruit, yogurt sometimes some snacky crisps or biscuits and for tea she will normally have what we are having or some of what we had the night before, recently she has had cottage pie, sweet and sour chicken, lasange all with veg or beans. Some things she will eat whole but sometimes I still have to blend the food a little but so it is still quite lumpy....for instance when she had the sweet and sour chicken with mash, she wouldn't eat the chicken bits, kept taking it out her mouth so I blended it a little. Really I just wanted to see what other kiddies my daughters age are eating and if some of their foods are still being blended a little? and also do they feed themselves? hands or spoon?

  • What age did your baby start to crawl then walk unaided?

Our Daughter turnt 1 2 weeks ago and she only properly started crawling about 2 weeks before her 1st birthday, she now also pulls herself up on things and is slowly cruising around some furniture. She walks really fast if you hold her hands but when you let go of one hand she won't move and she sometimes walks with her push along walker but you have to start her off and then let go so I don't think she is confident enough at the moment to walk on her own and needs to learn to get her balance too but how long from crawling did your little one walk unaided?

  • Formula or cow's milk now our daughter is 1?

Hi our daughter turned 1 last weekend and I have brought a tin of the sma toddler milk but just wandered what milk others gave their 1 yr olds? She has cows milk on her cereal etc so think she will be ok to have it as her main milk drink but do you still have to give at least 1 bottle of the sma toddler milk? She has 3 bottles a day at the moment so should we give 1 bottle of the sma toddler milka and the other 2 cows milk? Just curious as to what other people did? Also, how many ounces each bottle do you give your 1 yr old?

  • MMR injection for 1 yr olds.?

Hi I just want to know if you allowed your baby to have the MMR injection and if you did were there any side effects. If you didn't allow your baby to have it what were your reasons? I was speaking to a friend yesterday who didn't have a very good experience with it and it has now put us in two minds so I just wanted to see what other people's experiences were. Thanks
