1. f(x)=(x+a)^3+b

2. f(x)=x^4/4+2x^2

3. f(x)=2-x-x^3

How can I figure out if these equations are one-to-one? I can't use the horizontal line test because calculators aren't allowed.

I went tanning today and forgot my goggles at home. I didn't realize it until I had already paid for the bed and figured one time would be okay. But now I'm nervous about my eyes. It's been 2 months since I got my wisdom teeth out and I still can't open my mouth fully. Before the surgery my jaw would click when I opened it wide, which was annoying when eating but it didn't hurt. Now my jaw doesn't even open wide enough for it to click. I have to shove bigger foods like sandwiches and whole pickles into my mouth and it hurts the right side of my jaw. Since I have had jaw problems in the past I was worried that my jaw got more messed up. I was wondering if this is normal or if I should go see my doctor about it?

How strict are they about letting people who aren't within the age range in? It's 15-17 so would they let an 18 year old in? And also if they are strict about it how do they know how old you are? Do I need to bring my drivers license? I'm going on a cruise with a friend who's 18 and it's royal caribbean allure of the seas if that changes anything.

I was at skyzone Saturday night with my friends. In case you've never been there, there's a lot of small trampolines and each one is surrounded by a small mat that goes up and makes a little pyramid and connects other trampolines. I did a flip and landed on my heels, which sent me flying backwards and i landed on the mat. Something popped on the left side behind my knee on my left leg and I fell down. It didn't hurt too bad, just felt a little weird. Sunday morning when I woke up the back of knee hurt, especially when I tried to straighten or move my leg. When I put a lot of weight on my leg it buckles and hurts. Most of the time it doesn't hurt, except when I move it or straighten it. I'm not able to lock out my left leg either. My legs naturally overextend, but now my left leg won't even reach a straight position. Any ideas what I could have done to it? I feel like I couldn't have done anything too bad because it didn't hurt very bad initially. If it doesn't feel better in a few days I'll go to the doctor.

I'm a junior in high school and I'm trying to decide my classes for next year. There are a couple of classes that I think would be beneficial for me later on and I'm trying to decide which one to take. If I'm going to need to take some physics classes in college I think that it would be a good idea for me to take a physics class first in high school.
